I am mostly looking for pick a brick type stuff. i have a lego store here in Austin that i go to regularly, so getting sets is not an issue. That and i dont want to take anything too huge back through customs if i dont have to.
I will be traveling to London in a few weeks and wondered which store or stores i should visit?
Mainly looking for a good pick a brick wall, though good displays are nice too.
We are staying close to central London and are planing to visit most of the tourist stuff and some not so tourist stuff.
We will not have a car during the London part of our trip so we dont want to go too far off the path.
Thanks in advanced.
So i have manually gone through the process of picking parts and making screen shots to use for labels on parts bins.
This is a pain and i would like to automate it if possible.
Does anyone know of a way to batch process part files into jpg files with a certain view?
Right now i grab the parts in LDD, zoom in to only show that part. then angle it for the best view. and take a screen shot.
Then i take it to GIMP to crop the image.
I am pretty sure i can crop the images in a batch with gimp with no problems.
And i am working on the label side of it.
Last thing to make it easy is to get the part images automatically.
Here is the LDD file, I changes the tires to the unimog tires and the bed is part of the file as well.
I havent touched it in over a year so there might be some improvements i could make to it as well as a few things that are just too tedious to really mess with in LDD

I didn't realize that. This is part of why I posted this.
I do plan on making a command and control module to attach to the building so that will be able to connect into the raised ones.
Here is what i have been working on:
Long range orbital defense. with anti air and anti personnel defenses

I took the base and will be modding it for a command module for fire control and communications.
maybe we can get a bit of a revival of the standard.
So I started messing with a moonbase building and started searching around.
Maybe a new corridor here and there but other than that nothing.
Has the standard been abandoned? how about the micro standard?
What do you guys think?
Fully multi-core/threading and 64 bit to take advantage of extra ram.
Custom parts palettes would be a nice addition.
Lastly, Tank treads with snapping, or a tread building applet to make placing tracks easier.
and of course, more parts. never enough parts lol
