  1. The small actuators look really cool. I would like to see the rest of the sets.
  2. Simple and nice modification.
  3. Thank you very much for your reaction. Words like yours inspire me and make me want to beat my previous MOCs. This is a little bit offtopic, but you can take a look what have I built of 4916 Creator set. 77 parts and nearly endless possibilities. I own 7 other Mini Creators and this set is definitely my favourite non-Technic LEGO.
  4. It always happens like that. I have a crazy idea and I don't stop until it's done. This model again ensured me that the telehandler is more suitable for making alternates than the helicopter 8046. Anyway, thank you all for your kind reactions.
  5. DLuders' topic about the AFOL activities made me to open the box with 8045 again and here comes a small whale or orca with moveable jawbone and fins.
  6. I only wish the helicopter wasn't red and white again. What about blue and white? Sadly, I think that not. I still cannot wait for the picture.
  7. Shame the helicopter is not a flagship. Would love to get a big studless plane or copter. What are your guesses on the supercar? LAMBO or something else?
  8. I wonder what drives these people to steal others' ideas. That is inacceptable. Speaking about the people that choose the finalists, this assures me in my idea that the choice is some kind of wicked lottery. Maybe the creations are just some random pictures picked by the computer.
  9. The small telehandler is a decent set for rebuilding and I had much less trouble with creating my own alternates than with the helicopter 8046. This activity could be a real fun. You can also organize a race with small IR cars that should be built in advance, of course. The other idea is to do something similar to the game with the gears on LEGO.COM. Two people with two same frames and one gear placed at the beginning, one at the end (some additional ones could be placed somewhere in the middle) of the gear assembly. They would have a plenty of different gears available. To solve the puzzle the first gear will have to be able to rotate the last one. The person that makes that first is the winner.
  10. This one is really useful. But since skid steering is not allowed in the Czech Republic, I have to deal with the obstacles in a different way. Mentioning the tyre slipping, the same happens also with some of the 81.6 wheels and I used the rubber bands on the rims. It worked perfectly alright, but during the last race I lost front left tyre :D Maybe it was because I did not check the condition of tyres before the race.
  11. In 1994 when all my friends were listening to NIRVANA, I loved metal and I really liked the drumming style of NIRVANA´s drummer Dave Grohl. Once I did not know what nick to use in a computer game, so I started using "grohl". I really like it without the starting capital "G". Dave Grohl is still one of my favourite musicians. That's it.
  12. I also have errors for two days, so I am unable to upload my MOC for the Technic Challenge :/
  13. For this month's Technic Challenge I decided to use one of my MOCs that has been built for the Czech LEGO Forum exhibition. Maybe you have not seen it yet, so here comes the BEAST.
  14. The performance of this MOC is really astonishing. Great job on that.
  15. My vote goes to 8274 Combine harvester. Although the main model is not that bad, the alternate is an absolute disaster.
  16. Beatiful MOC, I also did not have an idea that something like this machine really exists.
  17. Perfectly right, the yellow connectors, bushes and some thin liftarms really need replacement.
  18. 25th remake of 8271 is here. Behold! The Moose is coming. Features only the moving head via the gear behind the back.
  19. Maybe with smaller wheels, these are way TOO heavy. I personally distribute weight like this: 60% front 40%rear.
  20. In the meanwhile I have been working on the 25th remake of 8271, but I will not tell you what it is yet. I have also uploaded a video of my FTTS trial truck
  21. Great find. The cat moves really great. I especially like the bending of the spine.
  22. I remember finding your loader on Brickshelf some time ago and I was stunned with the complexity and functionality of the model. Thank you for the instructions.
