  1. I couldn't agree more. A while ago I purchased one Wolfpack sets and readily enjoyed the experience of opening the box. Oh, by the way, just to throw in my two cents, let me state something about inflation. If you assume 2% inflation on a yearly basis, it'd take around 20 years for prices to double. Since the BSB came out about 20 years ago, it should roughly sell for $200 today. Since it's selling on ebay for around $500, that means that in real terms it's more than doubled in price.
  2. It looks like you've made a nice little paradise cult here. How do I join? ;-)
  3. I like the way you've conveyed a small mountain stream with the light transparent blue bricks. This really adds a lot to the MOC in my opinion. Also, your story does set the mood nicely.
  4. I like the hoarding on your creation most of all. Will you be able to see more soon?
  5. It's official, the fact that there are bananas in this entry should make it win. Hands down.
  6. I buy the action themes largely for the parts. I collected much of the Aquazone theme because, at the time, I believe the transparent canopy pieces would be great for spaceships and space stations. I bought up almost every Time Travelers' set because the eclectic mix of parts appealed to me. I wolfed down more Johnny Thunder stuff than I can count because the pieces looked great for my Castle MOCS. For me, it has been and always will be about the parts.
  7. Nice entry. The conclusion is my favorite part.

Great start, but I'd love to see some MOCs thrown in.
  9. Oh, nice. I didn't realize that all the MOCs you had been posting were going to combine into one. Excellent work.
  10. This is a significant improvement over the original especially because it has a back wall. Nice work. Now, how about manning it with some minifigs so we can see it in all its glory?
  11. Nice entry. I think the way you made fire explode from the cannon was my favorite part.

Nice MOC although I agree that the clutter is almost too much. However, a pirate probably wouldn't care. I also like your clever use of ship hulls to make the town. All the wrecks make me wonder if this town is in some particularly dangerous waters (or if Bluecoats were piloting the vessels).
  13. This is wonderful. I really like the bar fight scenario and the Bluecoat being thrown into manure.

I'd buy that Forestman set in droves and I'd take several of those white lady sets. *sigh* If only. NIce work.

Great MOC! I think this is one of the best ruins I have ever seen. I love the little scenes you scattered throughout as well such as the zombie chomping down on chicken wings and the fig carrying sticks for the fire.
  16. I think this is an excellent MOC. The dark green gives it a very mature look and feel and the train doors for the truck bed work really well.
  17. Haha, it's nice to see the jellybean knights get what was coming to them! Excellent pheonix by the way.

Yet another instance where in one MOC somebody outdoes almost anything I've seen outside Legoland. Amazing, amazing, amazing.
  19. Hah, nice entry. I think we all know what stepping on one of those parts feels like...
  20. I love the crab shell. Very nice work.

This is a great MOC. The lighting is neat and the scene with the vuvuzela is hilarious.
  22. For a while there was also a slew of cannons in the US that were like the shooting cannons but that had been "disabled" with a piece of plastic inserted where the spring would go. I actually modified some of mine after reading this post over at Lugnet.
  23. Very, very cute. I wish TLC would actually make some of these. :-)
  24. I like to sort all of my Lego to keep it under control. I do keep a few prized MOCS and sets together though. Here's a picture: picture = link
  25. Ah, it's nice to see a solid Redcoat entry after so many Bluecoat ones recently. Great work. I always suspected the Bluecoats wouldn't mind being baudy wenches anyway. ;-)
