I came out of my Dark Ages with the birth of my little boy Kenny in March of 2008.

It started a reliving of a childhood relatively blessed with lego. I had the yellow castle, the first "modern mini figured" fire station and gas station, along with other little sets- most of which are broken down at the parents. I'm not allowed them- they're for my kids to play with when they come over!

The first set of my renaissance was the extreme team challenge, cloely followed by Vladeks Dark Fortress. I've since become enamoured with the Adventurers line and collectable minifigures. My wife is very understanding, and insisted on opening some of the series 3 mini figures with me. Great fun.

I still haven't been able to throw sets together and start making MOCs...maybe 1 day
