  1. And I found the Bakery Stand at a Kmart, so I'm a happy camper.
  2. Cheers! PM sent. I wonder if there's more than the Mailbox and Bakery Stand out there... $5.95 for a polybag is quite decent, I think, so I hope to see more of this. There's a LEGO competition/raffle in the magazine as well (with Friends prizes), but it's only open for under 16s (gender unspecified). I'm not sure how they verify these things, but perhaps I'll enter my 16 month old daughter and the neighbour's 3 year old son
  3. Awesome, thanks for the heads up In Adelaide at least they seem to come with the Mailbox, not sure if it's the same everywhere. I'd prefer the Bakery Stand over the Mailbox, but any promotional polybag is better than none.
  4. The Simpsons house spotted at Big W TTP (Adelaide) tonight at $298.
  5. The Monster Fighters theme is finally on clearance at Kmart, but no crazy discounts yet. From memory, the castle was $109, hearse $35 and crazy scientist $55.
  6. They had a handful of tankers when I was there. (But I presume they are long gone by now.) That's a bummer, sorry if I got your hopes up. I wonder if these sort of clearances are regional, or even at the discretion of store managers
  7. I saw this at Woolworths TTP (Adelaide).
  8. Oh, Myer also had the new Mindstorms set for a whopping $499.
  9. Myer at TTP (Adelaide) had their SW planets sets on clearance today for $8. Rumor has it that the series 4 planets didn't make it to Australia due to lack of sales (sorry, I can't remember the source), but what the heck did they expect at $16 rrp?? Woolies also seems to be getting rid of their "great vehicles" (at least the garbage and tanker trucks) for $12, down from $29.
  10. I spotted Emmet this evening at my local cinema: I need to get myself one of those
  11. Thanks! LEGO is already too expensive as it is, so I don't think $250 is a good price. With a bit of luck you can eventually get it on clearance, but that's a bit of a gamble.
  12. That sucks, but I would expect if you go back and explain the situation to them you will get that layby sorted out with the correct pricing (assuming the extra 10% off applies to laybys too).
  13. I spotted the new LEGO Batman board game on the shelves of my local Target store today. A notable difference from previous board games was that it was not "shrink wrapped" in plastic, but the lid was taped shut much like some larger LEGO sets.
