  1. I also think the change of rules is not fair and not well-communicated. If you set up a contest with a set (not a model, haha!) of rules, you should stick until the end of it. If that means that many people will be disqualified because they did not follow this rules, disqualify them, but don't punish the people who followed all the rules in the first place. This way, your contest looks like despotism by the moderators (sorry for the strong language, but I think it expresses well what many users here think) -- See it as a contract you sign with some people... you cannot change or re-interpret the conditions of this contract without asking the other parties involved. And I personally do not agree with that change of rules (or interpretation of rules, whatever strange trick you are playing here for excuse) and think this will highly influence my chances to win one of the announced prices. Sorry, but this really bothers me.
  2. Thanks for your help, I will change the links in my posting! (About screenshot quality etc., I will think about what I can do about that. But I hope everybody can see my creations this way, too!)
  3. I am sorry for that. Do you have any recommendations for better image hosters which I could use?
  4. Entry #5: Crappy Creations A bricky kiss from postmodern art As some of you already know my love for postmodern art, I here present my new theme project: "Crappy Creations", consisting (by now) of three models -- each representing a different color scheme for a wonderful piece of art in bricks, designed with Lego LDD. If you are interested in the original LDD-files, please message me. I did not use any non-existing color combinations, even though this would have made my project even more unique. And here we go: Red Rubbish Green Garbage White Waste I hope you enjoy my buildings and I want to thank the organisers for a wonderful digital design contest!

Does not look very royal to me, though. (Well, the urinals maybe.) Brick on.

    Awesome monkey cage!
  7. sabertooth replied to tornado's post in a topic in LEGO Town
It has everything a Lego Frozen Yoghurt shop needs: A sign "Frozen Yoghurt" and a building made out of Lego! Congrats and keep the good work! Brick on!
  8. I really like the build-a-minifig-stand! The two holes give it a super-realistic feeling, and the color-scheme yellow-white-blue is gorgeous! It is by far the best build-a-minifig-stand that I have seen so far. Any chance that you would share the LDD?
  9. Where can I see how many votes I got?
  10. Thanks, I am really happy that you like my build.
  11. That was my entry to the LDD Contest. Because of all the positive feedback (thank you!) I want to start a discussion thread to it. Maybe you have some ideas how to improve my building even more? Here is the idea behind: A postpostmodern glass architecture building, my ultimate dream house! Please note the open architecture which allows views from the inside to the outside and from the outside to the inside at any time. Doors in all directions guarantee freedom and access to the nature: One big problem of contemporary buildings is the limited number of doors: Often they come only with front door and back door. This is not enough in postpostmodern times! The open roof enhances the liberating feeling of nature, especially when it comes to thunderstorms and heavy rainfalls, and the color scheme underlines open-mindedness and breaking with traditions. The interior is deliberately modest, since everyday amenities like kitchens, beds and foods only limit the freedom you can enjoy in your dream building. Last but not least, it is also worth to appreciate the limited space which is not only a sophisticated critique of the thriftlessness of contemporary society, but also broadens the minds of my dream house's residents. I hope you enjoy my building: If you want to build your own postpostmodern dreamhouse, you can vote for it on Cuusoo: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/60940 Or you can download the LDD-File: http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/510858/dreamhouse2-lxf.html Thanks!
