I'm running 2 HE's and I replaced the technic bogies for standard style on the dummy engine and I'm running two power trucks on the lead engine. Works well, no complaints. I'm interested in coming up with a better battery solution.

Thanks for the warm welcome, much appreciated! After the Doc plated and screwed everything back together, I'm on the mend finally. Been ice racing lately and feeling pretty good about being on the bike again. I swear I got faster.... I ordered another Horizon the other day, so I totally understand the empty wallet comment!

Hello, wanted to introduce myself and thank all of You for all the excellent information. I've been lurking since December after I had a nasty crash on my dirt bike and broke some internal stuff. During the healing process, I found myself getting interested in LEGO's again after a very long absense (29yrs). I was a LEGO freak when I was a kid, a FREAK about building and I wish I had never stopped. I bought a train to go around the Xmas tree and was hooked on them ever since. I've got the Yellow cargo and now I have a Horizon Express that I converted to PF and it's actually got two powered trucks. Been reading about Arduino and all the othe custom train stuff.
