  1. PF ones for me - I want to drive it!
  2. How's the progress coming with the instuctions? - I'm ready to buy the service truck for green bits!
  3. I managed to build it! I couldn't work out where one of the beams pegged in and guessed - guessed wrong and the bonnet won't close with the prop attached It worked brilliantly, then it started clicking and cracking in high gear, I was sat with it on my lap looking it over, it slipped and it dropped to the floor The rear bodywork and roll cage are all messed up and I haven't had time to rebuild it Got to say it was great for the 5 minutes I had it working, though the servo motor looks very silly sat between the seats but that's my fault - I may rebuild it with the m motor to keep things neat looking. Finally I must say how good this model looks - simply stunning! I would urge anyone with a 8110 to build this moc
  4. Hi piterx, did you ever get instructions made for this one?
  5. great, I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks.
  6. Got the instructions thanks, my computer didn't know .rar files so had to download another programme to get them to open. Just one question, how do I fit a servo motor for steering (my order finally came through!) instead of the m motor? I only began building last month and I find it easier to build with instructions than trial and error, I've tried to RC the unimog as it is and failed :( Well the unimog is now just a pile of parts - starting the build later tonight
  7. It was an error trying to connect with paypal but may well have been my computer as I had problems with it this morning. Happilly after restarting my computer I was able to pay for instructions - can't wait to build it now!
  8. Great that the plans are ready..... I keep getting an error when clicking the link to buy on your web page though. ......sooo close
  9. Are the building instructions ready now? are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they? Well .......... Are they? ! I have 5 of your money burning a hole in my pocket
  10. I've tried ordering a power functions set from lego and it's on back order until mid january, they still took the order though. I did get a M and L motor, speed remote, IR sensor (v1) and lights through the post today - servo motor unavailable to Europeans at the moment! I have ordered a "damaged box" 4x4 crawler so I will get a servo motor, just a very expensive way to get one. This technic hobby was meant to be cheap winter fun.....
  11. Fantastic news, really looking forward to rebuilding the old unimog into your cool jeep
  12. Hi, I can't believe after just passing my mid-forties I'm buying and "playing with", ahem "constructing models out of" lego! It all started with an innocent look around in my local stockists - who happens to sell by weight. After buying half a cup to build a model of my '93 Fiat Panda I have somehow in a few weeks ended up with a 8110 unimog and an order in for lots of power functions kit from lego themselves (after a lot of internet searching and coming up with nowt), not to mention a kilo or two of loose stuff I live just outside of York in the UK (there's a good chance I will be visiting the new official lego store in Leeds soon despite it being 30miles away!) and apart from technic lego I also like the real version of the car I'm trying to replicate in miniture (I have three of them!). I really am just searching about on the net for advice and building ideas for my technic panda project, and although it's been already built brilliantly by another, I'm chomping at the bit to get all my ideas together once I have enough of the right bits and pieces . I did buy the unimog to use as a kit of parts, but now it's built can't bring myself to break it. I'd like to say that scaled down Fiat Panda building is cheaper than the real thing but I can see it being a close run thing. Just a note on the name - my panda is a Fizz - taken of course so now I'm a cross between the famous Sisley model andmy chosen moniker. All the best Fizzley
  13. I wasn't that keen on the unimong set but this build has changed my mind - great stuff!
  14. Hi I've joined the forum just to ask(and beg) for instructions to make this magnificent model! I own three fiat panda's, 2 red and one light blue so perhaps I would build it in red :) I have bought a little technic lego to try out, it's very different from the lego I had when I was little but I enjoyed the building very much. Kind regards and keep up the good work :)
