  1. The model seems a little crude...maybe if you apologized for the crudity of the model... lol Just kidding! Wow! That's amazing work! I'm in awe. So so very cool!
  2. Not quite sure how to ask, so here we go: Way back, LEGO did a few custom Brickheadz for Store Openings. Mostly in China, but two in Europe, as well. They were Shimao, Beijing, Hangzhou, Amsterdam, Cologne. They also did one called "Nonnie" for the LEGO Inside Tour 2017. Anyone willing to give these a try? The five Store Openings ones were printed onto a 1x2x2 brick, while the Nonnie one was printed on a 2x4 brick. Some photos to follow, and thanks in advance! Shimao: Beijing: Hangzhou: Amsterdam: Cologne: Nonnie:
  3. My local Costco already has a pallet full of the Marvel and Star Wars Advents for sale.
  4. Just guessing, but maybe it's pretty similar to the SDCC Exclusive? I liked that Batmobile, and it was the 66 Batmobile, and I remember it was different from the one with the 66 Batcave. The Batcave is still in my "to build" pile, but I did Bricklink the SDCC Exclusive and liked it enough.
  5. #DataIsBeautiful Love the graph. I love stats and love Ideas, and love stats about Ideas. So big thank you from me. I wonder - what if you took out the two outliers (Minecraft and Maze)? What do those averages look like?
  6. My 12 year old daughter, who just finished binging this series for the first time last week, said she *loves* it. So, it's definitely a hit! (I've never seen the series, but I have to agree with her, it looks great)
  7. I was thinking the same thing. They probably dispatch a bunch of stuff to the US office in CT weekly. And then they mail it out from there as domestic mail. I'd be willing to be it's less expensive to ship one big create of things over, then a lot of small parcels from Europe. Might also explain why some people seemingly get their orders a lot quicker than others - maybe the quicker orders happen to be one of the last fulfilled and put into a shipment, which would make it one of the first orders out when it hits stateside.
  8. That was part of the deal when LEGO signed a 5-year contract with Universal to develop a new LEGO Cinematic Universe. That news came out back in April (about the movie deal). I had heard that there was going to be Universal Monsters, but we didn't know in what form that would be (until now).
  9. Haven't spent a whole lot of hours at the LEGO booth every year for the past several years, I can confirm that you are correct.

Wow! Looks great! I haven't come across your post previous to this. Just outstanding.
  11. The Bespin Duel set is a $40 set that will be 295 pieces and 18+. You're point is valid, but now we have a small Star Wars set, who knows?
  12. *ahem* *He* would like to have a word with you
  13. Can I just get a regular Guy Gardner minifig before we got to the Red Lantern version? Please? :)

That's definitely an interesting read. I'm a bit disappointed that LEGO would obtain this in such a way.
