I wouldn't be so hasty to dismiss your situation. I recently ordered 4 kingdoms sets from TRU online(received monday the 19th) and when I received the package they were jammed into a padded vanilla envelope and every box was smashed. By smashed I mean really beat up the sides were bulging out and there were creases. Needless to say I was not impressed. Luckily I am not someone who saves my Lego boxes (although they are nice). If I was someone who collected boxes I would at least think twice. In the same vain I ordered some battlepacks form Lego.com they were shipped in cardboard box - no damage. =) Was your set shipped in an envelope as well? -Tristan

HELLO EVERYONE! I was very excited when I stumbled across this page a few weeks ago and I've finally decided to dip my foot in the pool. My name is Tristan Johnson and I am a 22 year-old from Wisconsin - moving to Rockton, IL tomorrow actually. Next year will be my final year at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh as a Poli Sci major. After graduation I plan on attending Marine officer candidate school. I have been a Lego lover since I can remember and I was fortunate enough to have parents who didn't mind my hobby. In the last few years Lego has taken a backseat to World of Warcraft and countless other video games but I've seen the light yet again. I am somewhat of a Lego purist in that I have an unexplained and probably unnecessary disdain for Junior/Technic Lego. I also find myself annoyed by the use of large and peculiar shaped Lego bricks and I don't even want to think about Bioncle! LOL (I don't mean to scare anyone off - it's just who I am lol). In addition, I find that I just can't take original sets apart. A small piece of me dies every time I disassemble a Lego set. Needless to say I have boxes full of sets and countless planes hanging from my ceiling =P My true obsession with Lego started when I first got my hands on my brother's castle (6080). My favorite themes would include castle, space, town, trains and aquazone. Oh yeah and Yoda/X-Wing for my Star Wars side. The iconic sets of my playing days were - Neptune Discovery Lab (6195) - Surveillance Squad (6348) - Cargo Railway (This set was always the center piece of my cityscapes and I freaking loved running the train =P) (4559) - Fort Legoredo (6765) I spent countless hours playing with this set and I'll always have fond memories of it) - I remember Shark Attack (6599) being the bite sized set that rocked my world for a good amount of time too! Well, sorry for the lengthy intro but I'm excited to be a part of a like minded community and build on!!!
