European vs. American Train Styles
You're probably right. Guess I oughta stop looking back there!

Inspiration from Promontory Point
No, I guess not. Well, I just thought I'd blow the dust off some of these!

REVIEW: 4855 Spider-Man's Train Rescue
It's quite a nice set! The labels are a bit of a pain, but it's still good! The train is a great recreation of the CTA 2200 series cars, and it can be likened to their newer cars as well(2400s and later models).

Inspiration from Promontory Point
Well, with that Toy Story train, we finally can have something like that in Lego form! And by the way, it's Promontory Summit, not Point!
-
European vs. American Train Styles
I prefer American ones, particularly the old west style ones! And we finally have one thanks to that Toy Story 3 set! Though I've got nothing against European ones, and I do like some of those! And I do like some diversity(i.e., European and American locos in the same museum or railway)!

Toy Story 7597 Western Train Chase
Well, it looks as much like a toy as any Lego set! I think it's well worth it for the wheels and parts! It's a great engine, too! I like that! How'd you make the tender? I wanna make one like it!

MOC: California State Railroad Museum
Very nice! But might I recommend the Toy Story 3 train to represent the Sonoma? Or the Genoa?

Toy Story 7597 Western Train Chase
Personally, I really like this set! At long last, Lego's finally given us an entirely American styled steam engine! And it does look quite different from previous trains! The larger train wheels really help! Yeah, the lack of a tender is a bit of a pain, but I just made my own, with a motor! It may not be an exact recreation of the train in the movie, but for a Lego train, it's a great western train in its own right!

Modern SW vs. Traditional SW
Well, I don't collect the Lego SW sets, rather go with the games. But I'd have to say modern SW. They're much more faithful!
