(2015) May The 4th Be With You Offers - Discussion thread!
Ordered my UCS Tie Fighter and Simpsons Qwik-E-Mart on Saturday, and they got here today. In the box, much to my surprise, was TWO Yularen minifigures and the poster. Sadly, the poster was caught up in the tape used to seal the box and ripped. I e-mailed Lego customer support and they immediately responded and are sending out a replacement poster. Customer Service there is amazing. I'm not sure if I got two Yularens because I spent $200 on the UCS Tie Fighter, or if it was a mistake. Either way, I got one sitting in my Death Star right now, and the other remaining sealed up.

(2015) May The 4th Be With You Offers - Discussion thread!
I was looking so forward to the May the 4th this year, as it's the first year I've been fully out of my Dark Ages with Lego. Sadly, two weeks ago I badly broke a bone in my left foot and am in a walking boot. So driving up to the Lego Store and walking around to get to the store in the Mall would be fairly uncomfortable. Besides, I have to work on Monday so I can't take the time off to go up there. I was VERY happy to get an e-mail in my inbox this morning saying that the May the 4th sales/features were in effect today. So I went and ordered the Tie Fighter Ultimate Collector's Edition today, as well as the Simpsons Qwik-E-Mart set. I got my minifig and the Episode IV Star Wars Lego Poster. Can't wait for this stuff to arrive. I've run out of room in my Lego Room to display this all, so I'll have to put some shelves up in my poker room to house some of these sets. Figure it would be fun taking down a huge pot with the Tie Fighter, Millennium Falcon, and various other classic sets on the shelves in the room.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
75055 is the only ISD that I have, but I love it. The interior is large enough to allow for some modifications if one would like, and as stated by others the minifigure selection is fantastic. The ship itself is also VERY sturdy and able to be moved around without fear of something breaking off. The inclusion of a handle to carry the ship that neatly hides itself when not in use makes playing with the ship quite easy. I'm actually buying another one during October for Double VIP points for my little nephew as a Christmas gift. He's only 4 years old, but is able to build some complex sets with help from Uncle Justin. :) He will LOVE the set as he goes crazy about minifigures and loves Darth Vader.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Hit up the only Lego Store near me and picked up another AT-AT, a microfighter X-Wing, microfighter Millennium Falcon, and the 2014 Advent Calendar. Waiting for the UCS Slave I to come out as I really want that. Will be spending the next few weeks working on the Mos Eisley Cantina modification I have in mind now that I have two of those sets.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Went on BrickLink and picked up a few more Stormtroopers. I'm not 100% concerned with small differences, and am actually quite happy that the Imperial Landing Craft I picked up basically has four Stormtroopers. (I can just omit the pauldron from the two Sandtroopers and BAM, they're Stormtroopers). Looking through my collection, with the ISD, Ewok Village, Death Star, The Imperial Landing Craft, and a few other sets, I've got a nice collection of Stormtroopers now. Edit: Just realized that the Imperial Landing Craft and Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Ring are sets from 2007 that I bought still sealed in the box. (At least according to the sellers on BL). Would be awesome if one of those had a Chrome Gold C-3PO in there.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Heh. Isn't that the worst part about ordering Lego? I can't wait for the three sets I bought yesterday to arrive. To satiate my impatience, I simply went and built the sets within LDD. Heh. It's like methadone for Lego addicts.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
I'm actually kind of happy that there aren't too many sets that scream out "BUY ME NOW!!!!!" Aside from the UCS Slave I, of course. Having come out of my Dark Ages earlier this year, I have spent a LOT of money on Star Wars Lego. We're talking multiple thousands. (Having been making good financial decisions over the past few years, I had the money to spare and figured there's no point in saving up money if you don't use it). I could actually use a break from spending hundreds of dollars each month. This past summer wave of sets was very money consuming as I really wanted an AT-AT, the Cantina, as well as the ISD. Being able to take a small break for a while is a very good thing. Heh.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
The Slave I rumors made me anxious to finally see the result, and the wait was well worth it. Can't wait to buy that and finally get a Slave I in my collection. Now this rumor about a large 10188 style set is making me even more excited. That set was incredibly fun to build, and the end result of the build is incredible. Another one like that for Cloud City would be absolutely insane and make me an incredibly happy, but less financially sound, AFOL.

HJR's custom minifigs
I'll definitely need to make a Wuher as I'm currently working with a second Cantina set to MOC it like another user has posted here. So a Wuher is definitely needed for that. If you don't mind me asking, what BrickLink part numbers are Wuher made from?

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Found out today that I'll be getting some Lego Star Wars sets from a friend. My friend's wife has a relative who works at Lego in Enfield, CT and is able to get sets at a good discount. She asked me what sets I'd like to get, and I told her that anything is good since with Lego, even if you already own the set having another is never a bad thing. So I don't know what they'll be getting for me, but I'm pretty psyched about whatever I'll get. A gift of Lego is always awesome, no matter what it is.

The comparison topic
The 7965 MF was the very first Star Wars set I ever bought earlier this year. It is an incredible set that is very durable, fairly accurate, and is great for display and playability. I would highly suggest it.
