  1. Has anyone in the u.s. found these? Seems odd that they are still "coming soon" on shop at home.

Thank you! I wouldn't have even thought to check either of those places. Edit: and our Michaels lists them as being in stock so we orderedsome for in store pick up. Fingers crossed. Thanks again.

Has anyone found any dots sets in the US anywhere other than Lego stores? My daughter wants to get some of these (I do too!) and we cannot find them anywhere. Unfortunately the nearest Lego store is a couple hundred miles away...
  4. Not sure what part of America Pokémon Go is dead in as it is still one of the top downloaded apps every month and you can see tons of people playing it everywhere you go but we are getting way off topic... Still haven't seen about half of the sets in stores. Seems like the Target stores around here aren't carrying the larger sets as there is no location for them on the shelves after the reset.
  5. ?? Pokémon Go is still *massive.* Ever been out walking on a Pokémon Go Community Day? You can hardly get down the sidewalk a lot of places. (To be fair, it is having something of a revival right now with all of the new features that they added...) Still enjoying the sets and my daughter is playing the app quite a bit (though she says she still likes Lego Tower better so I'm not sure how glowing her recommendation is.). She wants the high school and the train but neither is on shelves here so far. Hoping to order one of those once the juice bar promo is out.
  6. My daughter and I found a target that had a few of the sets out today. I picked up the bus and she grabbed the lab. She spent nearly an hour playing with the app so she seems pretty hooked. I haven't tried it out yet but the build of the lab was fun. Getting three minifigures plus the dog and extra head makes it feel a little worth the money as it is a fairly sparse set.
  7. My nearest Target did their toy reset yesterday so I was hopeful that they would have these sets out today but no luck.
  8. Hit several Targets today but no sign of them anywhere. I asked at one but they looked at me like I had three heads so I didn't ask at the others. Pchan1983 - who had them for 20% off?
  9. Out of curiosity, where did you hear this? Everything I've seen still has August 1st as the date.
  10. Definitely excited for this series so far. I'm going to need several of those flamingoes...
  11. I'm surprised to see so much dislike for the costumed characters. They are often my favorites from each series. Then again, after the full series of costumes, I suppose I could see how there have been a lot of them recently.
  12. Anyone else having trouble finding the second wave of sets? I still have yet to see them at retail anywhere (don't have a lego store within a few hundred miles...)
  13. Did they show the remaining wave 2 sets at toy fair? I haven't found any good Lego toy fair coverage aside from the Hidden Side sets.
  14. Anyone have a theory as to why Lego decided to keep the movie Brickheadz so limited? Seems like the Benny/Mayhem ones only lasted an hour or two and the first two are climbing ridiculously on ebay...
  15. Wishing I lived near a Lego store. I am dying for these sets (TLM was what got me into Lego in the first place) but haven't seen any yet. I ordered a few from shop@home and am feeling impatient for them.
  16. Has anyone had luck finding these sets in stores today? (They are street dated for today right?) My daughter wanted to spend some xmas money today so we headed out to the stores this morning and there weren't any sets out anywhere we stopped. No one seemed to know what we were talking about when we asked, either.

To be honest, this is the first modular that I haven't liked and the first that I might pass on. I don't like the lack of detailing both on the interior (why don't we have tiled floors?) and on the bland exterior. I have a hard time seeing a vet working above an auto shop as vets tend to like quiet to help keep the animals calm and garages are anything but quiet. I don't like the miscolored bricks on the hinge points, not a fan of the minifigures or the colors chosen… I'm just disappointed in it all around. Do I hate it? No, but at 200 bucks it's a hard pill to swallow that I don't even come close to loving it. I'm kind of surprised because whenever a new modular is shown I am always a cheerleader for them - haven't met one that I haven't liked before this. But this one just leaves me cold. What I do like (because I don't want to be solely negative): The humorous signs, the usage of sand blue parts, that new grey snot piece... That may be it. I am really hoping that it grows on me but I am decidedly in the negative camp for the first time with this one.
  18. It was pointed out to me a couple of years ago - I had never noticed them either.
  19. I imagine that you are right, honestly. Just to play devil's advocate, though, there are multiple clones wearing the same armor as Bacara on Mygeeto in that battle. There are several in the scene where Ki Adi is gunned down, just further in the background than the standard galactic marines.
  20. I know it's early-going but I gave up on finding these locally any time soon and ordered a bunch from shop.lego. It seems the stores around here are all sitting on so many cases of Lego Batman minifigs that they'll never move on to this series...
  21. I assume that the licensed series are selling very well (a little surprised since both Simpsons series and the Disney series are all still readily available around my area) and that is why they are betting more heavily on them... Still, it stinks that the regular series is being put on hold so much. At this point, I wish they would go to four series a year so that those of us who skip the licensed sers could still get regular minifigures regularly. At least the Ninjago and Lego Movie 2 series should be interesting to traditional minifig collectors.
  22. I've never participated in the guessing games. I'll give it a shot. 1) Sandwich board advertisement guy (two 2x6 flat printed tiles with a new piece at the neck to hold them in place in front and behind) 2) marching band drummer 3) ice cream cone costume character 4) shepherd with sheep 5) Elf king 6) alien warlord (four arms using Ninjago torso piece) 7) VR video games player 8) movie fan (blue/red 3d glasses print and new popcorn tub piece) 9) ladybug costume child 10) movie director with camera 11) gymnast 12) town crier 13) dentist 14) referee 15) larper (knight armor pieces molded in tan to look like cardboard with badly-drawn printing on it) 16) afol (with printed tile of a hard-to-find lego set, maybe early modular?)
  23. New York Toy Fair is this weekend. Maybe we will see pics then?
  24. Well, with the ghost appearing several times in Rogue One, you can easily stick to your movie-only rule. ;)
