  1. Very nicely planned! Can't wait to see what this will look like once you are finished.
  2. You are correct. The door to the bakery is based on the 41006 entry.
  3. Upon the request of my daughter, I started making a bakery modular based a little on the Friends Bakery set. The over-all building is 3-layer cake with the bakery on the ground floor and a 2-level residence comprising the 1st and 2nd floors where an AFOL happily lives. 4. I will be there Saturday with my kids. I hope to meet those of you who attend.

Time: 9.00 - 18.00 Friday and Saturday,9:00 - 17:00 Sunday More info/tickets @ http://www.lego-und-modellbahn.de/index.html Will there be any Eurobrick members attending other than myself?
  6. Freakin' sweet! Thanks for the light info.
  7. What is this lights set you speak of?
  8. Ha! Hadn't thought about the crashing! I did plan ahead and also get the 60050 Train Station, and I am already planning on making good it a tad bit larger.
  9. So the package from TLG arrived less than an hour ago and we are now owners of our first LEGO train - 60051 High-speed Train. This is a Christmas present for our son so the urge to build it will have to be suppressed for a few more weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions for newbies into LEGO Trains?
  10. Daniel, I just bought my 5yo son the 60051 High-speed train as our first train set. This is one of his Christmas presents so I don't have any suggestions for it, but I am happy to see another AFOL dad doing the same thing for his 5yo son.
  11. Now to see if I can convince he wife we should hit up Legoland that weekend! It would be an easier sell if this was on Saturday. Hopefully our kids school is out that week.
  12. I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who thought doing that would look good! Do the think I can get my wife to let me buy more than one else set, but I'm sure you'll make this into an awesome XXL build.
  13. LUSH is a shop that sells handmade cosmetics and soaps, and is a shop my wife very frequently patrons. While on one of these visits, I was inspired to change the Pet Shop into a LUSH. Here is what I came up with in LDD: LegoLush1 by Poisso3, on Flickr LegoLush3 by Poisso3, on Flickr LegoLush2 by Poisso3, on Flickr LegoLush5 by Poisso3, on Flickr LegoLush4 by Poisso3, on Flickr
  14. That's my thoughts on this too! Maybe the 10th Modular will be a "historic building" that the square was built for way back when and now utility is a museum?
  15. As I posted in a Facebook AFOL group earlier, I'm getting the feeling this could be City Center type idea for a large open square with the other modulars intended to go around it. As for the 10255 already being the large R2D2, maybe that is a typo?
