  1. Simple but sweet! Sometimes the smaller designs can be the real gems. As for improvement, I would suggest two flame peices on the torch. It would give the whole MOC a more life-like feel. Personally, I think the flag would look better behind the building, as you showed in your second MCLad. Nice job! This is gonna turn out well! *y*
  2. Hope you have a great day, guys! Save me some cake! On second thought...save me all the cake! :-D
  3. Ooh! What a wonderfully creative topic! Here's my opinion: Non-studless and studdy creations both have their place in LEGO MOCS. It totally depends on the look your going for. In my current MOCing project, "A Day at the Pond", the LEGO water is completely studdless, but the surrounding grass and landscape is very studdy to give it a rugged, outdoor feel. So, like I said, it's entirely dependent on the MOC you're trying to build, and the look you want. Both styles have their own pros and cons, and the choice is up to you! With true art, LEGOs included, there is no "right" or "wrong". ;-) ~pianodude2494~
  4. Right now I'm working on a fairly large MOC named "A Day at the Pond". I'll post it here once it's all done! ;-)
  5. Ahh! More juniorization debates? Oh well, here's my two cent's worth... LEGO is going down the drain. For the most part. I must admit that 2007 looks like a great year for LEGO, one of the best years in awhile! But as a whole, the set TLC is making just aren't what they used to be. Parts are far too customized, making them difficult to use again; minifigs are becoming way too "theme-specfic", making mixing and matching a pain. So yeah, I will agree that juniorization, and customization are destroying LEGO. :'-(

Whoa! Your talent is astounding, BrickMiner! Great job on all the new designs! The Bad Kid and Banned symbols are especially good. :-D Again, sweet job! You're definitely the "Graphist Admin"!

Gosh! That's one sweet Mech, lego! I love the way you added "claws", what a touch! I also like the picture quality and shadowing, great job! 9/10
  9. Ooh, that ballista is sooo sweet! Does it spin? If so, *y* *y* *y* ! The prow is also nice, but a little big IMO. I also love the little flag at the top of the mast, nice work! 8.5/10. Very, very good! No readily apparent flaws!
  10. Why does everyone think this amazing little raft is so awful? What wrong with it? I'll admit, it is a bit too <insert that tiresome argument>, but still... To tell the truth, Mr Phes, I really like your raft! Sure, it's a bit un-realistic, with a catapult on-board, but I still like it! Improvements? When you re-do this particuar craft, re-name it and take out the catapult. I would also add a few more "little details", like buckets, treasure chests and...you know. 6.5/10. Not the best, but not terrible.
  11. LEGO and LEGO bricks! *y* Just seems a bit more respectful to me...
