  1. We need Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man, although I'm worried his appearance in the decidedly not child-friendly Doom Patrol show may damper his chances of appearing...
  2. The new and slightly more legit set list has leaked! “Inside the Hidden Side” ”Jack’s Truck and Gas Station” ”El Fuego’s Stunt Plane” ”Newbury Haunted Cave” “Newbury Haunted Lighthouse” ”Newbury Haunted Fairgrounds” Out of all of these, super excited for “Inside the Hidden Side” as thats almost confirmation of ghosts as physical figures, maybe even some of the boss ghosts as seen in this wave. On the regular set side of things, I’m actually oddly excited for a run-down, dilapidated gas station - should be a smaller to mid sized set with an interesting build.
  3. Thank you! Ooo, that one will be a fun challenge to execute, given there's not much reference material at all in terms of existing Lego elements.
  4. Yikes, that’s unfortunate. It’s 3AM in my time zone and I’m thinking about calling it a night, although I have no clue how popular this will be or how fast this’ll sell out in the US. edit: 5 AM and still unable to add to my cart. Well, that was a waste of time :/ I’m booked tomorrow literally all day so was hoping to catch this when it goes love but I guess I’ll be rolling the dice tomorrow and seeing how popular this will be and how fast it’ll get backordered.
  5. ISD still not available to add to cart for US members, even when I'm logged in with the VIP account and everything.
  6. That's actually a really good idea - you may have cracked it! Fragility isn't an issue as I'm using a heat gun and soldering iron to basically melt every piece together and make it super sturdy. Thanks for the suggestion!
  7. Thank you! Glad you like them! I've had my eye on making that for a while - there's an intricate leaflike pattern on the transparent blue dish element I haven't quite figured out how to replicate yet, but have a few ideas (engraving? printing it as a separate white piece? painting?) Thank you! Are you talking about this one (https://rebrickable.com/parts/3959/weapon-gun-torch-space-with-grooves/) or the more bazooka-esque long one? Either would look great on my wall and once I make a copy for myself I'd be happy to chat with you more about shipping one out; it certainly would be cheaper and much less complex to model than the hammer or fang blade.
  8. My bad, but yeah, leaning towards these being either busts or to-scale props like the gauntlet, especially if they are "game-changers" (figure-based sets, even if they are dioramas, aren't exactly game-changers as we've seen those before in Comic Con exclusives and even some sets like the first Doctor Strange set)
  9. Some Star Wars sets just leaked and they are large-scale helmets. Could this be what some of the adult-oriented builds were referring to? In which case, we might see an Iron Man helmet or an Infinity Gauntlet?
  10. Originals; I’m modeling them all after the original appearances in the show (S1-2) and have already completed the files for all four — it’s just the long part now (printing) which is coming up.
  11. If you’re willing to assemble it (it would be hard to ship it as one piece, but I could totally ship the individual pieces and you just need to glue it together etc) I could totally make another copy and sell it for a decent price, if you want to talk more in PMs! Glad you like it! Yeah, the handle had some issues printing without supports as I didn’t want to waste too much material, but generally I’m ok with it from a distance. Thanks for commenting! I’m currently printing the Nunchuks of Lightning now.
  12. Been working on something Lego-related, but not quite Lego, for the past few weeks... 3D printed Ninjago props and weapons! I love the detailed designs as seen in the TV show, and wanted to replicate some physical props to use as interesting wall decorations and whatnot. Starting off, we have Cole's Hammer, as seen in Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu! I based the design off of these images (and the show): And came up with this: Next up was a Fang Blade, all the way back to Season 1! Based it off of this reference: And came up with this (some creative liberties taken to make the pattern stand out more): What do you think? I'll probably continue updating this topic, as I have a lot more in the pipeline (including every golden weapon, a Jade Blade, and maybe Chen's Staff) and if anyone has any suggestions for tips or ideas on what else to design and print, let me know! Thanks for checking this out!
  13. It’s pretty rare a leak happens by the set being put on shelves, but huh this is interesting. Good to see that BH is making a coming (let’s hope the Jabba rumors are true; that would be a really cool build) although the helmet on this Kylo Ren seems a little off... I’ll wait till official pics come out to fully judge it though.
  14. Is anyone trying to get the Boost Droid Commander GWP having trouble adding it to the cart? For some reason, adding the Boost Droid set doesn't automatically make the GWP appear, despite an advertisement on the Star Wars theme page featuring this exact promo. I am signed in to my VIP account and everything... EDIT: There are TWO SEPARATE listings for the Droid Commander. One is the normal one, and one is listed as "Droid Commander with Exclusive free VIP gift." To get this to appear, type in "75522" into the search bar, and it will automatically show this second listing, curiously with an item code of "5006036." Presumably my free gift shall arrive in this package, although with this totally broken system, it's hard to say.
  15. Perhaps, but this could be totally based off of the app minifigure leaks (the Pilot and Stewardess, Pianist Elton, Mr. Armitage, etc). There isn’t enough new information here to make me believe it’s real. Additionally, the Hidden Side set names have never actually used the names of characters in them (except El Fuego Stunt Truck, which is kinda the name of the vehicle) so directly calling out the character names leaked from the app seems fishy to me
  16. Yeah, not sure what's going on with the albums (that were supposed to all come out for S3-S7 on December 2017, then 2018, then delayed indefinitely) but really hoping that via YouTube or somewhere these will get released. Considering emailing the composers to see if they have any updates on this... And there have been a few tracks for season 9 (and some really great ones for S7) released on David Butterfield and Jesi Nelson's Soundcloud (they are supporting musicians for Ninjago).
  17. Upon rewatching, Akita's theme is shaping up to be one of my favorite tracks in all of Ninjago. Really hoping that somehow, the music is released somewhere.
  18. Loved both episodes 19 and 20, but feel like 19 would have been better as a short as it was extremely jarring in the middle of the Ice Chapter. 20 was absolutely amazing - some top notch acting and fight choreography, especially with the large and bulky mech, something that Wilfilm struggled to make look good in the past but clearly isn’t an issue for the new studio. Overall the Ice Chapter is shaping up to be so much more engaging than the Fire Chapter (and that was already really good) so I can’t wait to see what comes next. As for the anime style, the fights were cool and all, but it just doesn’t feel the same as Ninjago - I wouldn’t mind it as a spin-off or side web short series, but would rather it not be used too much if at all in the future as it’s a bit too jarring going from 3D minifigures to this.
  19. Is this double points on launch applicable to those in the US as well, or is it UK only? Edit - I just got the email that says so; that's great
  20. I was lucky enough that they actually shipped me my parts, and even for free too boot, for the trouble — but it seems that I just got lucky and most people did not get their orders fulfilled, sadly.
  21. That top-down silhouette is just perfect. Can't wait to pick this up - I almost Bricklinked the old one a while back, but as soon as I heard the rumors I held off and I'm glad I did.
  22. Tommy Andreasen said that yes, indeed an entire episode (but only one) will be used for this anime style, although the context is pure speculation by me. We'll have to wait and see how exactly this will fit in the main story.
  23. The mech looks great as always, and I'm excited to see the mystery of the Ice Emperor unravel. Anime-styled portion is a little odd, but it would certainly make for an interesting episode. Maybe it fits in the context of Cole telling a story, and this is through his eyes? That would explain the Ultra Violet appearance (he could be telling the kids about Sons of Garmadon), and him narrating the intro of the teaser explaining Aspheera certainly lines up with that. The episode is titled "The Worst of All," so I could see him recapping past villains in an anime-esque style. I just hope that doesn't take away too much from the main plotline...
  24. They actually sent me all of my Nexo and Ninjago parts from 2015-2017 (even some from 2012) as well as Bionicle CCBS parts, so it's worth a shot. They even gave it to me for free for all the trouble with the site, but I may have just gotten lucky...
  25. Stuff like the Making of Lego Movie books were some of my absolute favorite books to ever come from Lego. Even the Chima concept art retrospective on the old website was amazing. I see your point that it doesn't make sense to release everything, but even stuff like this is nice. I remember that appearing on Brickset's servers back in 2013 or so, and wondering why it was cancelled - I guess due to declining Lego Games sales.
