LEGO Ninjago 2020
Regarding the potentially cancelled Prime Empire car - do you know anything about the lack of Digi Zane in these sets, why he's depicted with arm printing in the cards and magazines, and if/when he may be coming as a physical figure? The arm printing makes me think that they're doing something special with him, like some sort of book promotion or polybag, but I'm not sure what the deal is with that.

Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
I'm all for making sets from previously covered movies as there's so much we missed, namely a good Basilisk/Chamber of Secrets playset and the Chess/Winged Keys/Fluffy rooms from Philosopher's Stone.

LEGO Monkie Kid 2020
If it is an Asian-inspired theme, I can see it setting itself apart from Ninjago by doing no vehicles, and cementing it strictly in a fantasy setting (but then again, no vehicles means less play value for kids). Then again, the leaked bigfig doesn't exactly scream asian setting, so this could be something else entirely.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Higher priced sets like the castle sound very exciting to me, a run-down abandoned haunted castle is something I’ve been wanting to see for a while, and at the price point it should be pretty substantial.

LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Agreed, the Prequel Trilogy never gets any love from LEGO these days, and I'd love to see any of the numerous vehicles, locations, and characters that we either haven't seen since 2002 or haven't seen at all. That being said, getting the umpteenth remake of a turbo tank, Naboo Fighter without any new or interesting techniques, or AT-AP/Droid Gunship pairing would seem like a waste of a slot. Shame about no new TCW sets, at least this year. Was really looking forward to the possibility of getting them.

LEGO Ninjago 2020
Yeah, it's a Legacy set.

LEGO Ninjago 2020
This is probably sarcasm, but I for one am really excited to get a show-accurate original Destiny's Bounty - looking back, the 2012 one is pretty lackluster without any interior space.

Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
My best guess, at least for Hidden Side, is they want to announce some new gimmick on their own terms and make it a press release at a later date, hence why they don’t want premature descriptions to be released. As far as Marvel though, I really don’t know, unless all the upcoming sets are Movie/Disney+ show tie-ins.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Wonder why Hidden Side is under a higher level of security this year. Perhaps there’s some new gimmick they are waiting to unveil on their own terms?

LEGO Ninjago 2020
They’re a UK/EU thing, just like the monthly magazines with minifigure packs. For whatever reason, they aren’t offered in the US (outside of a one-time thing two years back where they seemingly tried to push a US magazine with foil packs and didn’t continue with it) Pretty disappointed in no official Cyrus Borg yet, given how he’s surprisingly managed to stay somewhat relevant here and there in the show. This was the perfect place too. On another note, the voice actor for Maya (Kai’s mom) revealed that she’s reprising her role for a future Ninjago season, so I’m curious if we may be getting updated figures of Ray and Maya down the line...

Future Constraction Sets?
Gutted that a 501st Clone Trooper was on the cancelled slate, and we even got prelims for it... I wonder if Constraction and CCBS will have any place in LEGO's future lineup now. When was the last time we even got a CCBS element in a system set, minus the odd armor detailing here and there? Even the remake of Ninjago's Thunder Raider wiped the set of any trace of CCBS like it had in 2014.

LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
It's high time for an updated gunship, not to mention the possibility of the phase II clone becoming more prevalent in sets (bugs me how the plain one was only in an advent calendar and a wave 1 microfighter), as well as clone wars minifigures with normal faces, especially Ahsoka and Maul. Let's hope Lego will give us a good number of Clone Wars sets in the coming waves... (Not to mention it's the perfect time for a 501st BP)...

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Yeah, if anything for me it was really cool to get a non-production color set of parts, just really strange as that rarely, if ever, happens.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Did anyone else get spring yellowish green Hidden Side ghost accessories instead of transparent green in some of the new sets? The instructions, box art, and official images all show these components as transparent, but oddly enough, I received some in a solid color. The subway is the only set I’ve gotten so far that has the accessory pack in the seemingly wrong color. Is this a factory mismold? https://imgur.com/gallery/aFVzBOK

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
I believe this is because the soul artifacts were centered around the ghosts being forced to bring Lady E back - now that she’s in the “Into the Hidden Side” set, there is no need for any more soul artifacts I guess. Too bad, as getting cool recolors of existing parts was nice

LEGO Ninjago 2020
That being said, sets take a lot of time to develop, test, and put into production, and what I’m speculating is that there potentially could have been a draft of the script they were going for that ended up with Zane dead, but they backtracked not necessarily last minute, but late enough that changes to the sets couldn’t be made. It would explain the weird editing/non-conclusion to the final episode, where Zane is magically back to normal and faces no consequences or repercussions for his actions, and his absence in the sets. Now, if S12 starts off with him being unable to travel to this digital world for story reasons and explores something unique in terms of his story, I’ll take this back - but the image of him in a suit just like the rest of the ninja suggests otherwise. As for the 2020 sets, if you are in the US and haven’t found them yet, my local Kohl’s was stocking every $20 and under 2020 Ninjago set, and you can even check online and do in-store pickup to get the 2020 sets you want.

LEGO Ninjago 2020
As an aside, does anyone know if the sets supposed to come out on December 26, or January 1? I know S@H says Jan 1, but it also says that for Hidden Side, which in a press release were stated to come out on Dec 26, so I’m not sure. Located in the US and been trying to find them at Targets to no avail.

LEGO Ninjago 2020
A new magazine was just released and it shows a picture of Digi-Zane, the one figure missing from this wave. I wonder if this means we will be getting more sets in this style, if there’s a previously unheard of retailer exclusive, or if the rumored disconnect between the show supposed to have killed him off but changed their mind and the change not reflecting in the sets is true... Edit - ninja’d, but yeah, pretty strange how he’s not in any set so far.

LEGO Ninjago 2020
Yeah, but in the old Legacy outfit, not the new redesign for Rebooted/Tournament. Seems odd to include a second Lloyd in the Rebooted-Based Thunder Raider and not a new Zane

The Best and Worst of 2019
Best Theme: Don't know anything at all about the game or story, but going with Overwatch. A really impressive lineup of insanely detailed minifigures, new molds, and really cool mech builds that were somehow priced really well too. Add a triple-molded bigfig into the mix, and I'm sold. Best Minifig: Ice Emperor from Ninjago. Really slick dual-molding for the Helmet/Armor and overall a great concept and execution of an evil Zane. Best Set: 75810 The Upside Down. Really interesting and unorthodox design from a license I never expected to see in LEGO form. Worst Theme: Hate to say it, but Marvel Superheroes. It seemed like the theme was really at odds with itself: the majority of the sets had builds ranging from good (Quinjet) to decent (Molten Man, War Machine Buster) to unnecessary (Avengers Bike, Helicopter, HQ), but with largely really, really unimpressive and undetailed minifigures. The Quantum suit figures were a complete joke, and it sucks that for certain dead characters like Cap and BW, it will be a while until we get MCU suits from this film, if ever. At the same time, we had the Hall of Armor set, jam-packed with amazing minifigures and an Iron Man fan's dream, but with a really boring and lackluster/repetitive build. As much as I like Marvel and collected all the sets, it was a real mixed bag for me, and the lack of a good D2C or bigger adult-oriented set was the final nail in the coffin. Worst Minifig: Probably Happy Hogan; I understand not wanting to make new prints, but there were a bunch of preexisting recent hair and head combos that are far, far better than the weird, beardless, generic official one. This isn't even a concept art/MCU being secretive issue; dude's been around since 2008 and looks basically the same in all his appearances. Worst Set: The Star Wars "Action Battle" sets are clearly not targeted at me, so I won't fault them for that, but it seems like a strange gimmick to put such a heavy focus on those ancient Technic competition cannons and I can't help but feel like they took up slots where more interesting Star Wars stuff could have been put out. 2020 Most Anticipated: Aside from what's already been revealed, like Gamer's Market or Mandalorian Battle Pack, I'm super curious to see how those rumored busts for Star Wars and Marvel turn out, as well as the strange "Leaf" and "Zebra" adult-oriented themes as well as the cryptic Bionicle 2020 hints Faber has been dropping heavily on his Instagram.

LEGO Ninjago 2019
More upset/perplexed about a lack of Grimfax (Especially with three General Vex figures scattered throughout) as that would really only require a reprint; the helmet is molded in the correct colors already. Would have liked to see Sorla or Kataru as well, although the latter is understandably far less likely due to the new mold...

Oohnorak
Love the very organic look of the model, and the fact that some semblance to Rhotuka has still been kept. Ingenious use of Slizer/Throwbot visors as well.

LEGO Ninjago 2020
No, it was just a leaked set name and item number, hence why I was speculating whether or not there would be more than one exclusive minifigure.
