  1. Thanks samer. I didn't notice about the big turntable vs smaller one. Thanks for highlighting. I do have 42008, so will be able to nick it off from there. Thanks again n cheers
  2. Guys need your opinion, This may be odd comparison but any suggestion would be appreciated. I got domestic ministry approval for one set only.....42042 vs 42052....both retailing about the same price here. Which one would u suggest? My buying point would be 1. potential Model C or D (main consideration) 2. usable part for MOCs. 3. rare parts I note that the part count are 1400 vs 1041 but 90 of those for 42042 are track links. Appreciate your suggestion. Thanks and Cheers
  3. This is an awesome concept. Something that looks into the future.
  4. 16:10 9:6 18:4 8:3 14:2 1:1 All the best to all participants....Awesome entries
  5. Hi, Glad you have completed the Instructions. Have sent purchase request. Can't wait to build :)
  6. Hi, How is the progress of the Instruction for this wonderful set? May has passed....just a kind reminder
  7. Dear MrTekneex, It just amazes me on how you could come up with superb alternative models from existing sets, everytime. Saying that, existing sets has a finite number of pieces (i.e limitation) to source from. Unlike Lego designers, they design almost freehand from large stash of parts. Once again, keep up the amazing job. Looking forward for instruction in May. Cheers.
  8. as for the piece count, quoted from brickfan website LEGO TECHNIC Fire Plane (42040) – £44.99, 578 pieces – Red and white sea plane. The single propeller turns as it’s pushed along a flat surface. Also comes with trans-blue 2×2 round bricks that can be dropped from the bottom of the plane. Crawler Crane (42042) – £109.99, 1401 pieces – A blue motorized crane. The boom of the crane is about 3 feet long. Mercedes Benz Arocs 3245 (42043) – £169.99, 2793 pieces – Available late 2015. 10. Nice model and it does stand tall. How tall could that be?
  11. I checked the connections to the receiver from each motors and found one of them were slightly loose. Removed and reconnected those connectors and now the steering works.....amazingly. Wondering how come it worked for one side steering only earlier. Nevertheless it works now. I'm thankful for your prompt reply and support. Thanks and cheers guys
  12. Thanks Ozben. that would be my last resort in the event its a faulty motor. otherwise do you think I could have went wrong during the setting up...I.e if wrongly sncyed or missed doing something...or something?
  13. Hi guys, I'm Raj from Malaysia. I have a problem with my 9398 steering which I just completed this morning as my birthday gift from wife. My crawler only steers one way...only to the right...with the turn knob on the remote rotated forward. When I release the turn knob, it(the crawler) returns to the centre just like how it should. but when I steer to the left, it(the crawler) does not steer to left, eventhough the light on the receiver lits up. The crawler keep going forward instead on turning left. I'm not sure where I went wrong. Have I missed something? hope someone can point out what went wrong. thanks in advance.
