  1. SolidBrixStudio's review on the Star Scavengar made my night - I don't really agree with him as I think it's not a bad set even though I won't be buying it. But he did make me laugh!
  2. I can't help but laugh when I see all these negative comments on this set, I mean I love it, I swear there is something wrong with me, like somebody planted something in my head to make me love all the sets you guys hate. I don't know what it is, First I loved the Assault on Hoth and now I love this!
  3. That Hawkeye might be my new favourite figures <3
  4. Only a few more days till I can get my hands on this awsome set :)
  5. Oh I understand where your coming from. My point was made completely separate from that as I also believe Brickhithouse's response was very innapropriate. As much as I love the set £220 isn't an amount of money I can easily pass over even with a good job. I don't understand where he got that idea from.
  6. You say this like it is fact, saying that this set isn't a good price is your opinion I think it's very fairly priced. I also think it looks great on display in my office. People need to stop stating things as facts that are just their opinion. It's one of those things that really grinds my gears (if you'll follow the Family Guy reference)
  7. All this petty mocking of the Assault on Hoth set seems especially childish to me. Just because you may not like the set doesn't mean it isn't appealing to others.
  8. I think what everyone needs to remember is that these are just people's opinions. Just because some one likes a set that you don't does not mean that they are just annoyed at the lack of hype and would be willing to hype a set just because it has a Star Wars logo banged onto the box. I think anyone who has an opinion on this set will already have been a fan of Lego long enough to form their own respectable opinion that is completely down to them. I have previously voiced my positive opinions on this set so won't be doing so again but I just wanted to input my thoughts on these constant comments referring to the the disagreement between peoples opinions.
  9. I'm not understanding all the hate here and I'm definitely not agreeing with it. In my opinion this set shouldn't be compared to sets like the well village which are one big landscape set. To me this set opens up lots of opportunities for Star Wars sets as I see this set as like a battle set, a UCS war set. I know there isn't much on the imperial side but it will still look ace on display. I personally believe having a massive battle scene (after I've added some base plates and environment) look ten times better than some large ship. So this is going in my books as one of the best Star Wars sets on the planet and I will be handing over my money straight way on April 30th to get this awesome set :)
  10. Brick set has a report detailing the Toy Fair press release. The Rogue One sets were released in this and the price range was $9.99-$149.99 Seems interesting that we're getting such a large set but nice to see a small set aswell :)
  11. Its got to be said, I love every new set coming out this Summer. The prices seem reasonable to me but I guess that is just my opinion :)
  12. I have recently set up a Bricklink shop and am wanting to get it up and running but I fear having '0' Feedback will put many people off buying, has anyone got any tips for a starting seller?
  13. After looking at that section for a while in mine i decided it was a sort of stove, a place for the Chef's saucepan to sit
  14. After seeing the U.K prices for these sets in the Argos Catalogue, seems as though these sets are rather overpriced in the U.K (Well in my opinion they are anyway)
  15. I was trying to look for this topic but was unable to find it anywhere, however if it already exists feel free to let me know so i can close it down. My question to you all is what were you treated too for Christmas? I always enjoy hearing peoples Christmas stories and the Lego they received and/or built. I should probably kick this off by saying that I bought myself 2 modulars whilst my partner bought me Jabba's palace and the three smallest Force Awakens Star Wars sets. It was a great day! So what are your stories for this year?
  16. I get this all the time, the worse being the last place you'd think to ever feel judged for buying Lego. Legoland. The cashier gave me the awkward look as I placed 2x Modulars and a large Architecture set on his desk. He followed this up with an awkward 'so is this for you?' .... To which when i replied yes he gave his close colleague the 'WTF' face. It was very confusing for me as I suspected they get people like this everyday but it did make me feel pretty awful ;(
  17. Went into Toy Planet in Derby today and they had the new sets so I picked up; - The Resistance Battle Pack - The First Order Battle Pack - Captain Phasma Constraction Figure - Kylo Ren Constraction Figure
  18. The sets are up on the UK site too. Very nice pricing on these sets, i will probably pick the whole wave up in one go :) Misfortunes Keep = £69.99 Tiger Widow Island = £39.99 Zeppelin = £24.99 Jays Dragon = £24.99 Sky Shark = £17.99 Ninja Bikes = £17.99 Coles Dragon = ???? It mysteriously hasnt appeared, im guessin around £7.99 or £9.99
  19. Does anyone know the U.K prices for these sets?
  20. Glad to see there is a lot of love for Axl, I mean a pumped up Knight on steroids. Who couldn't love him ? :)
  21. The Pet Shop has been taken off Lego Shop U.K's website :) ................
  22. Visited Legoland Windsor yesterday and bought: - Tower Bridge - Parisian Restaurant - Winter Toy Shop - United Nations Headquarters
