The Undaunted Benefactor is an ex-troop transport ship retrofitted by Zed Corp to serve as a Humanitarian Relief ship. The Benefactor is now under the control of the Velegrad benevolence fund, and is mainly used to provide humanitarian relief to the other, less prosperous planet in the Velegrad system. The ship has been refitted to carry modules on both sides, these can be used for a variety of things, such as a first aid module, escape pods, refugee evac pods, aid drop pods, or extra cargo capacity. The current fittings on the Benefactor are a escape pod for the crew, aid drop pods to be sent from low orbit to the more unreachable sections of a planet, a first aid module, a septic tank mainly for the crews use, but also for medical waste. The Ship has had its slip stream FTL drive stripped out as the space was needed for living quarters, and most of the Benefactor's business is in system and so convention travel was all that was needed. Similarly the main weapon turrets and missile batteries were stripped as they were seen as unneeded and to dangerous for civilian use. However one howitzer was retained, as they can be equipped with stun grenades to control unruly refugees. The ship has a constant flight crew of 2, a pilot and a commander, then there are 2 addition humanitarian workers, and depending on modules, a medical team. See the full gallery here - http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/385884 Here we can see the good work the crew and ship of the Undaunted Benefactor is doing on Velegrad 3, a planet in the inner rotations of the Sun, that has recently experienced a civil war. It's considered Velegrad 1's duty top help the other planets in its system.
  2. That's a real shame, however toilet bowl cleaner is way to harsh to clean anything but, well toilet bowls, I normally clean my bricks, with warm water and washing up liquid, it works for anything

Shuttlepods were used by the Space Federation in the 2150s and early 2160s to transport personnel to and from planets. and/or spacecraft. Shuttlepods were able to seat a pilot and one passenger, although conditions aboard the vehicles were cramped. Each shuttlepod had an entrance in the cockpit and a large entrance at the back. Shuttlepods were capable of traveling at impulse speeds. They were designed for a maximum speed of one-half impulse, though it was possible to go slightly faster. Even more thrust could be produced using fusion overburn. The two impulse engine nacelles at the back of the shuttle can be ejected and safely detonated if necessary. Shuttlepods were armed with plasma weapons. These are two forward mounted plasma cannons.

To get rid of dust I take away the small pieces, and dry rub them in a towel, then i get a cloth mesh put it over my hover nozzle and then hover the build, it gets rid of the dust and if any small bits you missed do get knocked or sucked off they don't get hoovered up :)
  11. I've just finished a 64 stud long Ship with full interior :)

Hi, I'm a British lego fan, and deeply interested in the Scifi and castle themes! I have been active over on Mocpages and Flickr for a decent number of years, but only just decided to join EB
  13. ^I agree with the guy with the same name as me! Peaceful existence and space exploration is a great way to go, maybe even having laiens in the same uniform, tahts never been done before, where everyone is on the same side! That would make it an excellent reboot!
