Hey Ssorg, a fine looking DC-3 you have there! I love the landing gear mechanism. The use of the curved slopes are awsome. Just not sure about the mix of chrome and silver though ;-) Here is my version of a DC-3 from almost 10 years ago. Predates those fine curved slopes...I might go and remodel mine some day. Good luck with cuusoo, you will get my vote :) Klaus
  3. Speaking of the HTML Building Instructions. Looks like it's still not possible to zoom in the instruction images so that they can fill out the complete HTML page. I still feel the HTML images are too small.
  4. I guess the cockpit windscreen is this one http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6267 and the nose is probably a variety of slopes. I am really excited about this set and have been waiting for ages for TLC to make this into a UCS Set
  5. Hi Ansgar, those Minifigs look awsome! Where can I get those chrome parts? I cant find them at chromebricks?! Klaus
  6. Thank you for offering these. Please count me in :-)
  7. Hey Deinonychus, thanks for the great review! Could you provide us with a picture of all the different metallic silver pieces contained in this set? That would be great! Klaus
  8. Hi, which one is Brody?
  9. Hey Tony, great job on the train! I really like the way you snotted the cheese slopes! Do you happen to have a picture on how you snotted it? Thanks and keep up those great trains! Klaus

WOW! My prayers were heared!! *sweet* Not only do we get a DC-3, but with PAN AM insignia!!!! My favorite airline!!! I guess the plane model represents this DC-3 version I found from Franklin Mint. At least some of the decals seem to be the same. Lets wait and see how it looks like in the movie ;-) Indy On!
  11. Hello Dear Indy Fans! I will out myself as the author of the Flying Wing display! ;-) Thank you for all the positive feedback, I am glad to hear that you all enjoy the display! I built this diorama for the Frechen/Cologne Fan Event past weekend. Next to the Flying Wing display, http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=291593 I also took up on the Temple of Doom movie, showing one of the initial action scenes where Indy and Willie Scott escape Club Obi Wan and get chased through the streets of Shanghai. I also added a little airport scene with a Ford Tri-Motor aircraft, one of my favorite airplanes! http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=291590 I received some numerous emails regarding instructions, measurements, parts-list etc for the Flying Wing. Sorry to say that I do not have any of that available since all my models are packed and stored away and I am writing my diploma thesis, so not much time for anything right now. I hope that the pictures will sufice for inspiration for any of you who might want to build one for themselves. Take care Klaus PS: Yes I am the same dude that built the Messerschmitt 323 display last year ;-) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=226128

Jup, I got mine yesterday too!! :-P ....And what a beauty that little sucker is *sweet* They were sent by Stephan Sander who is a German LEGO Ambassador! How are you guys handling the little precious one? Keep the bag sealed or open it??

I think this torso would look perfect. Just change the light gray arms to darkgray! Ok...and change the head and leg parts too ;-)

Hey Ya'll I think this theme will have great potential for the Adventurer line! I am really excited about it, especially now after seeing the first MF image :-) As a German, the possibility of Nazi MFs concerns me a bit too. I think though, if we get bad guy MFs, LEGO will probably make them generic looking, just like someone here already mentioned. Another thing I want to point out is, that we shouldn't emphasize the Nazi thing too much now until we are certain what the contents of the sets will be. My biggest fear is that by making a big deal about it, LEGO might cancel the whole line....similar to what happend with the Alpha Team Ogel Set 6776 from 2001, where it got put off shelves because someone felt offended by the printed map on the box where it had New York pointed out as a possible terrorist target. And this would result in not getting any Indy MF or set at all! :-/

Wow, those torso decals look great! Intersting too how the soldiers torso does look similar to the Rock Raider torso after all. Yet $15 is kind of expensive ....... and the SW torsos look good too, but also expensive, so I will stick to Rock Raiders for now ;-) I always try to find a LEGO-solution to things when I build, Minifigs included! ;-)
  16. eastpole replied to Khorne's post in a topic in Special LEGO Themes
Actually, I picked those torsos because they are the closest of what might look like a soldier uniform. I think the hats are sillier, but we might still have to wait a while until LEGO makes soldier helmets ;-)
