  1. That is a very good moc. Technically superb, yet not completely a Lambo imho. The wheelbase seems a bit short. Lamborghini's are in fact very big cars. It might also be the angle of the picture. Nevertheless a good entry at Eurobricks!
  2. Superb work! It would do even better with some chrome Very strong work
  3. Why would you say Scania, it is not a licensed product, and although it looks a tiny bit like a Scania it is not clearly the r-type cabin for sure.
  4. What a useless discussion, ....this is forum garbage. It is all a matter of taste and money priority. Who needs others to tell them not to spend their money on something...... ?? I think there will be 75% of people in my social live that will think spending hundreds of Euro's on Lego is stupid, and then they buy a 500,- fishing rod, which i think is stupid.... but who cares?
  5. I am married as well, i still do Lego :-) I hope she is not the type that does not like her husband to be an Afol...... otherwise don't sell.
  6. It's getting bloody big Edwin, you will occupy our whole lowlug booth in the coming events!
  7. It is also a matter of investment. Developping the new PF line, and producing it is costly compared to making moulds and inject mould new bricks.
  8. Superb work, and another creative masterpiece. I sometimes wonder if people realize how much insight and creativity this type of moc requires. There are only few who can build things like this.
  9. I think you're oversensitive. I have been on flickr for many years now, and only browse my contacts and Lego, cars/trucks related groups. Nothing wrong going on there in my opnion.
  10. Not the biggest monster, but a bit of a monster it is, also fully functional:
  11. Cool work, especially the functionality. I also have to agree with the proportions, the truck is too wide. A Scania cabin of this series is under 2.50 mtrs. I have attached a drawing so you can see the exact dimensions: Your truck being 1:10 scaled, should not be 26 cm, but 25 cm at the side of the wheels. This would also include some smaller fenders and a wider chassis. For a version II that would be a great step forward in accuracy.
  12. That looks great, like a General Lee on steriods.
  13. Good work, love the functionality. This being a Peterbilt my only vice is the frontfenders not going with the hood.
  14. People talking about gearing, i can confirm it is a problem. You cannot chrome gears by electroplating. I have tried a couple of times but they fail, probably due to geometry or material composition. I have bought some sprayed chrome parts gears a couple of times, but they wear quite fast. Here my latest trailer, a halfround endump trailer with a lot of chrome
  15. I use a lot of chrome. I work together with bricks4all.nl in The Netherlands. As far as I know he is the only one providing true electroplated bricks, so with true chrome. I also buy from Auri sometimes, but I prefer the electroplated bricks from Bricks4all most, because they just shine a bit more, and are very tough.
  16. Nice pictures Edwin. I brought one of my Harley's and the Scania which is still a wip. Judging from ypur picture i can see i need to make the artwork a bit darker. That is next on my agenda.
