  1. Hehe... you're not the first to ask. This i have seen on a number of showtrucks, that actually run both sidepipes and standing stacks. The can switch by using a valve.
  2. The plating is very strong. You won't see a scratch on it, if you apply it on new bricks.
  3. Nice to see it here. This truck has been a lot of fun to build. I am now working on a flatbedtrailer to go along to haul other trucks.
  4. To me it is always the same with Lego Technic models. They look 'fat' on the box, but in real life always appear a lot thinner. It is not as good as i imagined. Especially the cabin and interior is in need of more pieces.
  5. That is a great video. These things are wicked, but very nice to build.
  6. Good work, and it is clearly inspired by the Arvo's, but not exactly the same. Judging from his folder Steven is a pretty talented guy himself!
  7. I don't see it as competition, at least i don't build for that purpose. Everybody should enjoy their own work, and the time put in it. This guy has his own style, and he has done a good job.
  8. I never understand these obvious mandatory needs for something. This is a stationary truck and it can steer, but there is basically totally no need as this is a static display only. It is not to play with This one is purely designed to be an eyecatcher on shows, and not to demonstrate technology. So i don't understand why to call that terrible. A while ago i wanted to build something that could drive and steer PF driven, just to get a feeling with the new Lego parts, but you still sacrifice on detail level. This is the truck below .. Technically it is great, but i love the static ones with more detail the most. And I have driven it only 50 meters in total I think. I even took the batteries out to avoid leaking
  9. I tend to agree with you Arnesson. I have actually had simular thoughts. Originally I used chromed bricks for those but is was too much. I will update it with tiles with pins mounted on the beams. Plates underneath would make it look to 'fat'.
  10. THat is already an old one. He has made some nice new things after this one.
  11. I am curious which ones you refer to? And Rohan... indeed, that reflection makes it swipe proof
  12. Thnx guys... indeed it is low, but that is air suspension which normally can be pumped up.
  13. Technically it is good, but it is too spacy for me if you want to include some detail in the engine bay.
  14. Haha.. you shameless copycat It is good though that you credit Ingmar, he is a great guy and a very talented builder. See here: Dutch Truckbuilders The render is a very good job.
  15. Great work. Good technique and especially good looks for a vehicle like this.
