whu would you do that?? :( got mine yesterday, build it today. what an awesome set! always loved ghostbusters. i don't care about the display stand much. so that is back in the box i display it like this: 2 figs in the car, one on the ladder and one walking.

A year ago i bought the 10220 VW T1 As i always were a fan of the custom T1 busses i decided to custom mine. 1-lowered 2-improved the back side door (got rid of the gap, and made it flip open completely) 3-narrowed and restyled the bumpers 4-new exhaustsystem 5-sunscreen here is the result

I Totaly agree with you!! they are over-used by lego. and that way by everyone that grows up with new lego sets. even experienced builders over-use them. just look at real cars, en see how manny of them have those extended mudguards.. almost none!! but then.. i am be a little to nostalgic because i grew up with the 80's and 90's lego. still there are some awesome way's to use them, What he says. it was the best next thing to it.

This is a great original idea! the truck looks like it could be one of the new city sets. I especialy like the old lego technics V8 tile on the front. maybe the trailer is a bit to long. the original looks way smaller

thanks.. but it is a corner piece, so it will fit in ;) And my first concept had the entrance on the same side as the gasstation, but that makes the layout of the upper decks verry weird and difficult

If i went bigger it would be more realistic, but then it would not me a good size for modular. It has 4 levels: 0: 3 privet parkingspaces 1,2 and 3: 7 public parkingspaces each so there is room for 24 cars each spot is 12x6 excluding the white lines. The ramps are 7 wide, so a 6 wide car has some room left. (btw: I stole the octan logo from the internet. so that is not my creation)

Yes i know that some of the parts don't even exist, but it would be weird to have a glas door in a port-o-loo :P and this was the best option i could find. and the colour a difficult factor. you could do it in white or orange. I am interested to see your take on the altego. i couldn't get the front to be more detailed. The front window is attached :P It is attached by the tlle in the middle. that can be attached to a kind of dachboard I am not a fan of the inverted tile at one side, but i couldn't find a better solution. my daf has a better window.

My previous MOC (construction building) had a port-o-loo in the back. So naturaly i had to make a port-o-loo-transport-truck here is my Mercedes Altego.

I took a shot at building a modulair building. I won't build it for real, so feel free to copy the idea if you would like. i just hope i can inspire others I used the LDD petshop to get the city feel.. (the petshop LDD is not my work)

(if you are dutch you see these roam the freeway's)

Hi My name is Frank and i am from The Netherlands. i spent most of my childhood in a big pile of lego's making mostly tucks and cars. And now i am 29 i just can't stop loving lego. I am a member at Lowlug.nl but i am am not that active. I am currently only building digital with LDD. It gives me so much freedom to be creative. I could buy the pieces and make the MOC's for real, but that is to expensive.
