I was at the Lego store a few months ago, and remember a conversation with an employee about someone who had picked up about 25 Green Grocers the week they sold out. That's about a $3000-5000 dollar turnaround . I ended up getting 5 Fire Brigades over the May 4-5 free shipping offer, and wouldn't be suprised if a year from now, they are worth $250-300 nib. It is absolutely insane.

Is Randy the only one who has been avoiding this dreadful issue? I haven't gone through and checked, but I do agree that knowing what everyone is saying about this would help us greatly. As for our "dear" mayor, we need to take everything he says with a grain of salt, or maybe two or three, but we still need to take it, as he may give us useful information

I don't really get this. Are you saying that as it continues, the Lego company will run out of ideas and discontinue it sooner? Because that doesn't make sense. If they don't continue it, then it won't matter when it gets discontinued. By your logic, continuing it is a bad thing because it will discontinue it. That's a confusing statement .

Fire Brigades. 5 of em. And another order filled with smaller sets. That comes out to be 6 Shadow troops, if they don't combine the orders. . Wish I could have gotten 5 more figs by ordering the $150 dollar sets. Maybe they could split the sets in half, ship them seperately, and give me a troop for each seperate order of $75 . I wish I could have bought them in-store, but the closest is 4 hours away.

Seems like UCS Hogwarts are springing up everywhere! I just started work on one, and have part of the great hall entrance and one of the gryffindor dorms done. The picture below is a floor plan that is fairly accurate. The classrooms and dorms are not accurate, but the exterior is accurate and very close to scale. For information about what rooms go where, check out these two links here and here. The first link is to a map of hogwarts from the top based on the movies. The map itself is alright, but what really helps is the information on what goes where. The second is information from the books, not the movies, on room locations. Hope that this helps you! Phew, Glad that I didn't miss this one. My house has been without power/internet for the last week, so I am glad to have it back up (well, I'm writing this from a neighbor's home, as the power is restored to mine). Anyways, count me in! 1. Unlikely. If I do go somewhere, I'll still have Wi-Fi access. 2. Eurodina. I played tolerably, and lasted until day 12. Sadly, my mother ( ) killed me. Sick. 3. Does it have to be a real one . Amazingly, I still have yet to collect this set, even though I have been trying to get it for the last two months . eBay and TRU really like their prices ($17 and $15 USD respectively). I agree with Masked, white backdrops would have helped. Re Ki-Adi, how is it logical to say you are not into clones and then say that this isn't a good set for SW fans? It doesn't really follow. The figs are MUCH better than the last battle pack we got, and have great detail. The BARC speeder is hardly the only unique thing about this set, all of the figures are new, and the ARF and the EK trooper in particular are spectacular.

Amazon has the 4842 Hogwarts Castle for $105. I think they had several Atlantis sets on sale as well.

Actually, the SNOT on the back looks a little forced to me, it doesn't give the desired effect. I do appreciate the interior, and look forward to seeing the finished model! Do you have an estimate on Parts value? If you are willing to sell it, it would go well with my collection. PM me a price if you are interested.

A wise man once said, "there's no such thing as a free lunch". Or a Lego brick as it seems. Siriusly though, I doubt that very many people fell for it, but NOBODY on a Lego forum would pass on the chance, unlikely as it was, that someone would give away their Lego. It was the perfect joke. Somebody should have front-paged it .
