  1. Some of the good dealt I've made with Technic: 1. 8043 for around €180 (used, mint condition with box, unused stickers and instructions) 2. 8275 for around €140 (used, great condition but no box) 3. 42021 for €6 (sealed)
  2. What I like about this set: - The look of the rear part - Another RC model - The B model What I don't like - The price (compared to 9398) - The side look of the front part - it looks like it's half-built
  3. I was about to ask the similar question as I've only recently built the tower bridge. However since I've got this model mostly to be the decoration it doesn't bothers me that much. I think if this set was designed to have bridge plates on the same level as the other plates it would have to have much bigger gap between the plates in order so you can open and close it.
  4. I love the way this model looks. I was planning to get it later but now I think I'm going to get it as soon as it's out.
  5. Excellent work. Very good and detailed MOC. I'd definitely buy it if it was ever released as a official set.
  6. I agree. I don't want to have 5 types of excavators in my collection. Instead I'd rather see more variety in the sets. Looking at some of the MOCs there's a lot of potential still there. Also I don't think 41999 is a good example for the change in model style as it was a limited set released as part of the contest. The original set 9398 was a good change from the constuction machines but it's probably going to retire soon and the replacement for it seems to be another construction vehicle (new Volvo front loader).

The main problem I have with stickers is that in time they tend to start to come of from the bricks. I don't agree that printed bricks limit the reusability of the bricks - if you glue a sticker and want to use this brick for another creation you need to remove them and you can't reapply them easily.

Hi, My name's RaYell, I'm 31 from Poland. When I was little I loved to play with Lego (Pirates and Aquazone were my favourite themes) but as I grow up I somehow lost the passion towards LEGO bricks. It reignited a year ago when my wife bought me a Technic set as my birthday present (it was a 8109 Flatbed Truck). Now I'm collecting mostly Technic models including many old ones which I often consider more interesting than those new ones. Regards, RaYell
  9. I have high hopes for this set. I hope it's going to be detailed similarly to VW Camper (10220) and Beetle (10187).
  10. I really hope for a new space shuttle. It's been so long since 8480 was released.
