2015 City Sets - Rumours and Discussion
I lust really hope that some of the colours aren't final. The police sets look like a mix of 2012/2013, and the tow truck shares the same colour combo with the Cargo subtheme.

MOC: "Tremors" movie MOC
Awesome MOC! I've always had a soft spot for the Tremors movies, particularly this one. Using the old pirate musket was a really nice touch to serve as Bert's elephant gun! II just hope Reba doesn't take the HK91 in your next MOC.

How many cars can one PF motor actually pull?
Thanks for all the input! My 60052 should be delivered some time today, so I'm going to experiment with different setups. I'm thinking that I'll try to run dual motors in one of the locomotives and see how it runs, as I noticed that my 3677 had some problems with pulling all 3 of it's cars after a few minutes. I'm also thinking of getting rid of my flex-track segments and getting standard rail segments instead, as I really didn't like the way my train behaved on them. Another random question: I've noticed that a lot of train MOCers use the old 9V system with metal rails. Has anyone experimented with the newer PF/RC trains on these tracks? Would the newer wheels have more or less traction on metal rails than the plastic ones?

How many cars can one PF motor actually pull?
Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to Lego trains, having bought my first one last week, with another one on the way. I'd like to build something longer than what I currently have, but I'm a bit curious as to how many cars a single motor can pull before the train gets too heavy. I know that most of the freight cars don't weigh much compared to the passenger cars, but I would love some input from some of the more experienced members here!

You should check out L@go's Flickr as well, he made a really great Lego Store MOC a while back. https://www.flickr.c...hotos/legolago/

Which famous train would you like to see in Lego form?
Although it's not very famous, I'd love to see the Caterpillar SD70ACe:

City Square
Awesome MOC, I really love the little details! The metro entrance was a great touch, it suggests that there's more going on beneath the city, which is something you don't see often. Well done!

Another new AFOL here, hi everyone!
Hi everyone, I'm Dustin, also known as 'PaddMadd'. I've always loved Lego, but haven't actually owned any for quite a while. It's pretty amazing to see the new stuff that has come out, especially the new City sets! I recently officially became an AFOL a few weeks ago after stumbling across some Youtube channels of other AFOLs with their custom city and train MOCs, and with my other hobby(airsoft) becoming a bit too expensive to maintain, I figured that Lego would be a great way to spend my free time. I currently have a few small items on the way to me via Bricklink and eBay, and hope to pick up 60052 as a stepping stone for my own train-related MOCs. With that said, I look forward to seeing the great MOCs this site has to offer, as well as sharing some of my own in the future!
