  1. They are free though. If I bought the Harry Potter set(s) elsewhere I wouldn’t have gotten the Vault or polybag but since I bought from LEGP directly, at the same price listed as other shops, I got the GWP sets for nothing.
  2. Not overly thrilled by this year’s offerings. The green torso looks like a watermelon.i do like the head & torso on the sax playing cat.
  3. As an American who didn’t have a chance to buy the first two, I would love to see a dragon dance set, but more in line with this year’s parade. I understand the functionality of the old one...but I’d much prefer it without the stand. Next to the lion dancers, I always love seeing those dragons snake their way down the road.
  4. I highly doubt it’s going to be a corner, unless they plan on breaking the pattern that has lasted the entire run of the theme. A corner, 2 straights. I would love an inverted corner though, but as has been mentioned, making an attractive front can be tricky...but I have faith in the designers that they could do it.
  5. I love it. It gives off the snowy rustic feel very well. I like the little side build too, and yeah, that looks like a cutout on the door.

Very cool! I too wish the official house was fully enclosed...and for the price they were asking, it should’ve been. I like how you made the back walls open up like that to make getting inside easier & avoid having to remove the roof.
  7. Great little scene, I like that even the landscape has differences to it, just as Mulan does. I like the posing of warrior Mulan.
  8. I felt that way when Harry showed up in the AC. While I don’t mind seeing minifigs in expensive sets show up in cheap ones, it does take a little away from what makes that minifig special. Built mine & I’d still rather just have the bank. The underground is cool & it makes for a fantastic standalone but it’s gonna look funny on display by itself as Gringotts sits in my town with DA.
  9. They’re really what drew me in as well, especially with all the variations we have in just one wave. The sets being cool are just a bonus. I was bummed though when I realized Mateo & Z-Blob Mech doesn’t even come with Z-Blob...but I am keeping an eye out for that polybag. I do plan on getting more sets but they’re not every high on the list.
  10. I too have that wish. Can’t even find them in LEGO stores here.
  11. I may end up going that route...I’m currently being distracted by JP sets. I’m still hoping to get the sets because they look like fun sets & cool builds.
  12. Forgot to add the Grimkeeper set for Cooper. Just really jumping into the characters, didn’t know the little dudes had names. Bought Mateo and Z-Blob the Robot this morning & I’m taking a better look at the theme.
  13. This along with the Pegasus is my road to getting the full lineup(minus Oz sadly) with the least amount of repeats. The Stable set is another option, but I like the other sets offerings more. It looks to be that the Dream Village is only available from LEGO in the US? I haven’t seen it at Walmart. Barnes & Noble & Target don’t even have it listed on their site either.
  14. I loved the show. After hoping for a second season my next thought was maybe LEGO will give more love to MK if the show takes off & there shows to be more interest in the story. I want the sets to at least show up in LEGO stores, but would love to see them in Target & Barnes & Noble as well. It seems the only way that’s going to happen is if there’s more outside interest. Seeing as the the theme has lasted this long without being canceled means it has to be a decent seller...so one would think LEGO has enough faith I. It by now. I sure hope so. It’s been an amazing theme since the beginning. Three years is usually the norm for action themes such as this...but it hasn’t been treated like the usual action theme, so who knows... I’m trying to stay focused on saving for the Hideout, but I keep seeing stuff that I go “ooh, I want that!” I gotta remind myself to keep on target & get the other stuff after.
  15. The next Ninjago Modular....in 2025. The next WV & Modular are always up there on anticipation. The latest rumor of Gringotts has pushed my excitement back up as it’s said to connect to DA(and not the smaller WWW like was thought to be possible). Even though I have nowhere for it given how I have DA set up...that’s a later on problem. Those are the biggies for me, I’m always in anticipation for regular sets as well. Anything Monkey Kid is gonna get me too.

I’ll echo this. I’m always looking at videos of people’s cities just to ideas on different placements to see what works or not to me & little detail builds to add around.
  17. Finished building Markets...what a build it was. It has everything you expect from a Ninjago Modular. The tram is a delight(although I need to come up with a handle for the crank as it’s a slow go otherwise). Details & build techniques are great. It’s not even top heavy to move with everything on it, which is a nice bonus.
  18. Let’s try getting this back on track... While I’m not sure it’s a no brainer(on their end) it’s certainly a great idea from an AFOL perspective. Whenever I meet up with friends who are AFOLs we inevitably bring up something that we think would be a gold mine. I would especially love the City idea one. Road signs would be great. It’s always fun seeing the third party movie posters in Palace Cinemas. They have done that one sticker pack a handful of years ago... As someone else mentioned, those VIP Add-Ons would be the perfect way to do that.
  19. Could very well be, but you’d think that would be across the board. Weirdos. I did see a YouTuber who finally got it, along with City sets...oddly enough. No review, it was just an unboxing video. I don’t even read reviews of sets I plan on buying I just found it strange. The last one I remember was with Rivendell. All the social media folks I follow had it in hand when it was revealed.
  20. I wonder why nobody who would typically have Markets has it...not even Brickset. Usually when a reveal happens they have a review ready to go. The only person I follow on Instagram who, finally, has one is Tiago...and that was recently.
  21. It looks just like every walkway area in the past sets. The only real difference is there’s no ladders & 1x2 green slope plates like in the first two. The water tiles, I think, are different colors underneath to represent different depths(little bit of trans tikes aside). Of course they’re not going to dirty sidewalks in a set, same way they have pristine sidewalks in the Modulars. It serves the purpose of being an open air for a market to take place. The set is light on that...but then every set is light on what they’re meant to be. Not much of a garden in last year’s set. Fair...just the picture alone shows off the variety in the skyline whether someone has all the sets or not though. That’s always been my biggest complaint about the other Modulars, they’re all basically the same height & square building. They didn’t waste any measurable parts(I’m sure) I’m the toilet...and parts definitely weren’t wasted on the cable car, that’s a great addition to the theme.
  22. For those saying it feels empty, what would you want? Because if they filled that empty space the cable car wouldn’t exist because it would crash into the poor citizens below or into a shop. Looking at the 4 sets lined up together, the skyline looks a lot better with varied height & width that we have.
  23. Well said. I love what’s going on here. Taking another look....and depending on how people display these sets, you could easily bulk out the upper area with some facades. The walkway in the previous sets are all 4 wide while this one appears to be 8. Just relocate the torii gate & omit the railings on the backside.
  24. To make the bottom feel more lived in, I was thinking you could add Ham’s stall from Ninjago City Chase set. You’d have to put the smaller stand in the other spot & put Ham’s there as I don’t think there’s another spot for it to fit.
  25. I love everything about it. Empty space works if it’s used right...Andy I think it’s used wisely here. When I think market I think open air. So having a spacious area for it is great. And that’s the one thing that bothers me a bit about the regular Modulars, it’s just big building after big building all basically the same shape. I love the variation in height, width & overall shape...and the distance between buildings in this case. The higher walkway between the two leaves a little to be desired however. Love the tori gate & flower pots & I see what they were going for with the garage pieces, but it’s just not enough going on. It just needs a little something more I feel, like the lower railings with advertisements or some different kind of barrier instead.
