42113 Reconstruction Guide
login replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingWell spotted, that plane indeed looks like a Sukhoi (and the comments on stackexchange mention that, which I didn't notice). I guess they use it, it must be something really very common in the industry.

42113 Reconstruction Guide
login replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThank you for doing that. By the way, I don't know if that's just my screen making that but I think the lime green on that aircraft looks like unpainted anti-corrosive coating. Which, I think, is kinda funny and awesome.

42113 Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey
login replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingLooking at the statement, the set seems to have been cancelled. I'd rather they'd cancelled the Charger, which is made after a car from a not very intellectual movie that glorifies crime, violence, and dangerous driving. Well, at least my wallet isn't going to complain now (even though the cost of that loss to TLG will likely be shared by the customers in the end).

[APP] BrickController2
login replied to imurvai's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi, I hope it's ok if I just say here thank you @imurvai for the app you created. So far I've been using it with my 42099 (Samsung Galaxy A50 and PG-9089 controller), it all seems to be running quite well. At least I think it's much more satisfying than using the Control+ app (I simply cannot simultaneously look at my fingers so as to keep them at the right position on the screen and watch where the car is going). One small problem I bumped into: the controller wouldn't show the correct button mapping in the BrickController2 app at the start, it looked as if all actions were mapped to keyboard characters (no matter how I tried to switch the controller regimes); this fixed itself after I ran a controller tester app, so I guess it was the controller's issue. Just in case anyone encounters something similar.

71014 Soccer Minifig Series
I've seen them in Real and Karstadt. Galeria Kaufhof usually sells Lego minifigs but last time I checked at my local store they didn't yet have the DFB series (the same was true about Mueller). Also, it's worth checking at local toy shops.

71014 Soccer Minifig Series
I got 41 of these miniifigures over this week, all bought at Real (who usually have one or two boxes of minifigs on sale, but this time they put out four or five boxes, and they were being sold as early as Thursday evening). First I bought one of Loew (that one indeed was quite easy to find) and one of a random footballer (who turned out to be Mustafi); next day I bought 35 more, picking more or less randomly (I didn't try to feel for anything at that time) every second bag from a (freshly opened) box. Still was missing a minifigure of Hoewedes after that (and if I managed to find two of them plus one of Mueller plus one of Neuer I would get two full sets plus some spares). On the other hand, I managed to randomly pick (all) three figures of Loew out of that box :-) Then I found the post about the bump codes which I had thought weren't really reliable, and decided to try it this time - feeling for the distinctive hairpieces in order to confirm (even though those of Mueller and Hoewedes' differ by colour only; Neuer, on the other hand, can be distinguished from all others with some certainty). Bought four minifigs - the codes worked for Hoewedes (got two of them) and for Neuer (that one I was quite sure about after feeling the hairpiece). Got another Hummels instead of Mueller though (again the same hairpiece in different colours) - as I saw later the bump code indeed didn't match that of Mueller according to the post earlier, it had an additional horizontal bar on the right as for Hummels, but that bar was nearly impossible to see. I'm still going to try finding out another Mueller and finish the second set. :-) Interesting, this appears to be my first post here, after a while of just reading :-)
