  1. Superman looks disappointed with the soldiers, if Batman hates him he would likely picture him being pleased with them. Also, the desert suit looked nothing like the soldiers, and he was wearing the cowl. I don't think Superman soldiers would have bat ears.
  2. A set with classic Electro, Shocker, and Insulated Spider-man at a powerplant could be really cool! I always loved Shocker, despite him being a little weaker than most super villains.
  3. Pretty sure Lex Luthor's hair is real, but the kryptonite will make him go bald. Also, I'm pretty sure the desert scene isn't a dream, as the soldiers are shown in another scene with Superman, I think it's terrorists who misinterpreted Superman's message, which adds to the controversy surrounding him. Love that desert suit though
  4. I desperately want a Batman with stubble. I don't understand why we get bearded characters in city sets but not in licensed. Aldrich Killian's awful figure had none and neither did the Lone Ranger, despite them both having stubble. I suppose I'll just get a Sharpie and do my own On a lighter note, after seeing the lines on the new batman, I looked up pics of the suit and all the lines are quite accurate. Strange how this fig and the Burton versions are both so faithful but the Nolan suit was so inaccurate.
  5. There won't be any more X-men sets, Marvel has waged war on Fox and they refuse to merchandise X-men and Fantastic Four, which is why we have an Avengers video game rather than Marvel 2. Also, I don't know if people wanting AoS sets should make me laugh or cry...
  6. I know this thread isn't really for speculation, but the fact that the Batmobile is in such a cheap set has got me wondering how many sets we'll get and what's in them. I personally picture a $12 set with Supes and armored Batman with a set piece or small vehicle, and a Lexcorp building (The set pics didn't have a skyscraper, just a small 1-2 story building) with whoever the "new threat" is; Supes; Bats; Luthor; Wonder Woman; and maybe Aquaman in a fish tank. As for the others, I'm stumped. We'll probably get a Bat-wing, but that only makes 4 sets. I can't fathom what the others would be, besides a possible Batcave (hopefully with Alfred and a Jason Todd suit).
  7. From what I've heard, the batmobile set is $30 bucks and comes with another vehicle and 2 other figures. It can be assumed that one will be superman, but who is the other and what other vehicle could be included? My best guess is that it's a Lexcorp vehicle and there's a generic driver.
  8. Sorry to get off topic, but could someone PM me about this "baseball" guy? I heard about him and his reappearances but I kinda want to know the whole story.
  9. Hank Pym turns evil all the time in the comics, and it's even more likely he will due to his company being taken over. It's a good reason for him to go nuts and suit up.
  10. This means nothing... A microfigure wouldn't fit on a Lego arrow and Lego wouldn't make new molds for a one-off scene that lasts a couple seconds. Also, if Ant Man can become giant in this movie it's more likely Lego would do that, although it's still unlikely.
  11. These are two different things. Marvel has a sprawling universe of incredible heroes and villains with magnificent costumes and powers, whereas Ultra Agents has secret agents (who usually wear suits) with jet-packs, armor, lasers, and all kinds of high-tech equipment. Also, the villains have cool designs (they were the reason I bought the sets).
  12. I'm so tired of people asking for Coulson. He is a middle aged man with a receding hairline in a suit! Lego gives us a flawless and unique Iron Man fig with arm and side of the leg print and people are complaining that we didn't get a soccer-dad with the personality of carboard. Here's a secret: make a purist custom! you could do it in 5 seconds! You should be grateful that Lego gives us excellent figures like these. Coulson will likely never happen, as children and parents would probably be upset and confused that they paid $60 for a video game and all they got is an old dude in his business attire.
  13. New sets look good, but I can't say the same for some of the figs. Reused ones piss me off, but the Titans look fabulous. Deathstroke REALLY should have had a black head with orange print, the amount of orange is gaudy and I'm afraid he'll have terrible back print like movie Bane. Robin's torso is God awful. My biggest complaint is why does Batman have boot print in one set but not the other!? It's ridiculous!
  14. For me, the problems in the Sandman set go even further. Why does Sandman have an elf face? It's dainty and curvy when he should be butch and have hard features. The Iron Spider is cool, but the red is too bright and the gold needs some better outlining. And where are Rhino's tattoos? If it's based on the movie it should look like the movie, instead of us getting another reused head. Spidey's boot print is lackluster as well. My only other big complaint is the general design for carnage. I think the black tendrils on his chest should be thicker, he's just a bit too red. I think they were going for a "modern" look though.
  15. Funny how the American film made by Americans in America featuring American characters (one of which is LITERALLY named Captain America) is coming out in other countries before America. Makes sense.
