21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V (LEGO Ideas)
Waited in line of 15 to get set when store opened (USA). Purchase limit of 2 per customer. They said they had enough to cover all of us in line, so that is at least 30 sets in store.

If you want a good deal, Target has it for 42.99 online. Just do in store pickup. It's still 69.99 in store. Just an FYI.

New Cargo Train 60052 not working
I use only Duracell with no problems. I have 5 battery boxes. I recently switched to Eneloop. I thought the problem was described as too small hole for the positive connector. I just compared an Energizer, Duracell, and Eneloop. Energizer has the largest positive connector. Large as in fat/wide and would have the problem fitting through the connector hole. I think it's more likely a bad batch or manufacturing error.

Box Repair
Repair it from the inside. Take a box of similar size, preferably a modern day lego box and cut the side flap off including the hinge and some extra part of the box where the side flap attaches. I'd make the extra you are going to use to attach it to the box, at least the same size of the box side flap you are fixing. Glue/tape that extra piece inside the box and then adhere the broken flap you have to the fully functional replacement. Like the previous poster mentioned, tape really isn't permanent and discolors. If you use glue, I'd go with something that wouldn't soak through and ruin the box on the outside, so something thick like normal white paper glue. Some basic cardboard conservation videos I found. I think merely reattaching your flap/hinge will eventually fail if you plan on using it. You could permanently glue it and then open the other side. Best to just replace the hinge if you want it to be functional. Research board game box repair and or Lionel Train box repair. http://cs.trains.com/ctt/f/95/t/215918.aspx "I use archival quality self-adhesive linen hinging tape. Its main use is hinging window mats to mounting mat as well as hinging prints and posters. It is also used for reinforcing folders, books and envelopes. It is perfect for reinforcing hinges and/or re-attaching flaps." http://thebiggamehun...epairing-games/ http://www.thegamesj...ringBoxes.shtml http://www.randystoy....com/boxres.htm

Train advice
I'd buy another sticker sheet while cheap on ebay/bricklink to be saved for your son's children or as an adult he wants to refresh the look with fresh stickers. Just zip-lock bag em' with a note for next generation and keep with the instruction manuals.

Horizon Express how many to look good?
A slightly passive aggressive PM to my earlier post. Quick google search would reveal "Talk me off the cliff" to be a Hyperbole! No surprise membership and participation in the train forum isn't higher with moderators of that caliber. What if I was a young kid trying to learn about Lego trains? That message would be really discouraging. That is not the way to share and enjoy your hobby. I will be simply reading here, and not contributing. Hi Heacy2600, remember you are in an adult forum, you might take that into consideration when posting things like you just did, I mean, I don't know what jumping from a cliff has to do a LEGO train. I fixed your title, typo's can occur and if I see typo's I always fix them, but right now I'm preparing for a LEGO show and so this message to you (that was in my eyes not really necessary) will make my train town less beautiful. So, moral of the story: next time, think first before you type something.

Which famous train would you like to see in Lego form?
No worries Redimus! Majority agreed prior to Rainman Dr_Spock's post! I'm amaized by the ingenuity of lego train builders! Precisely why I've lost interest in regular model trains. Dr_Spock awesome train! That tunnel is spectacular! Did a double take if the whole thing was real.

Horizon Express how many to look good?
Can a moderator fix title typos? Sorry posted from a phone. I can't mod title. @Garethjellis I was afraid of that!

Horizon Express how many to look good?
I've got two, but after a lego and model train show they look better longer. Do I need a third set before they are gone? Talk me off the cliff, Or yell jump!

2015 LEGO Trains?
I like all the trains and the excitement of waiting to see what's next. Although new to Lego trains, it seems to me that waiting for the next release will be my Christmas Eve for many years to come. I hope it's something new we haven't seen, and something we least expect. Whether we like it or not, new and different is always fun.
