  2. A Shame to see it go, but here's hoping that with this one gone a new ship can rise to glory!
  3. I see virtually no SNOT at all on this building... just a large number of Masonry bricks. and might I add its a wonderful looking building with such simple technic (who says the best builds require the craziest connections)
  4. Looking for the following for my collection, if someone comes across any I'd appreciate it! Pizza delivery Man Prospector Spooky Girl Dinotracker EDIT: only need Pizza guy now EDIT 2: thanks to those that helped finish it!
  5. does this chart take into account printed bricks reused after the initial release year? reason I ask is that each set that gets stickers will be "New stickers" but there are many printed elements that are were used in dozens of sets, this would lead to the mentality that printed bricks were in a lot of sets, while at the same time the number of unique printed elements is still very low. EDIT: I see that it doesn’t account for my above question, is it possible to find this data? I realize it would require checking each printed element for number of sets appeared in and then checking those sets for release year, but I would quite like to see those results as well.
  6. this is the second post by this user, and for the exact same thing (the previous was removed) also what web site is "youtu.be" sounds fishy to me
  7. No dust doesn't mean its not a practical effect, after all a smooth surface doesn't "Fling" dirt in the air as there is very little for the dirt to get hooked on. the more telling issues here are the lack of sand covering the ball, and lack of a packed trail on the ground, if you've ever rolled a ball on the beach there is always a clear smoothed path left behind and that's from a 12oz ball not a 200lb machine!
  8. Team? the empire isn't a team, its a way of life! you rebels and your team mentality, Bah!
  9. this raises a question, being, since he announced he was joining the Empire for the episode does that mean his build counts for the Empire, even if he stayed a rebel?
  10. For me it is 3 weeks and 17hrs till the local LEGO store opens, I wonder if there will be a line like there was for the Sand Crawler....
  11. So very glad to see the new deadline, was logging in today to state I couldn't get a build done in time, with Jan as the date though, I should have time available to get a build done!
  12. there is also rumor of an Avengers Helicarrier UCS. I imagine that would be quite Deathstar Sized if done as a play/display set. but if the Employee was referring to strictly star wars sets then its a mystery for now.
  13. have you heard if LEGO has been made aware of the mistake?
  14. if your referring to his horns, then yes they fit on any standard minifig head. they do have printing though, and I can't say for certain it will line up well with the older head.
  15. which could lead us to a Honda NSX (Acura for the US) I like that possibility
  16. odds are that it's only sold out due to holidays, and will appear again once things calm down. its not uncommon for some of the higher dollar sets to end up out of stock for their first holiday season. also consider that for the Americans (me) we've only had access to it for about 3months now. if they pulled it after that short of a time period it's sales would have to be horrid. and if I recall the reverse has been the case for this one. it sold out for about a week through Shop at Home, when it first came available for me.
  17. anyone else notice the Zane style eyes under the hotdog guy's hand? what is that about I wonder
  18. that's the one, felt it closed off the gap in the roof line nicely, and left a larger rear window
  19. decided to upload a picture of the car i brick built, again thank you for the design. its stunning! (and yes i used the CMF snowboard )
  20. GallardoLU replied to ritztoys's post in a topic in LEGO Town
im going to go out on a limb and say this was caused by more than coffee... perhaps a child's TV show and some free time its a great build though, lots of nice features and great scaling. would look right at home in any city!
  21. If you need something more hotrod then I suggest you pick up (if you haven't already) 10200: http://brickset.com/sets/10200-1/Custom-Car-Garage and lets hope Lego see's the need to give us an updated version sometime soon
  22. ok, seeing as it's not actually Darksaber, and even if it were the consensus seems to be that it would have been fine, then I'm on board with it.
  23. question: what is the policy of using items already established in lore? things like Revan's mask, Malgus' armor, Pre Vizla's Darksaber, and similar things. an entry used one of those items and it has made me concerned.
  24. Ok.. I have to voice a concern brought up by this story, and I am really sorry your build is the one to do it to (the build is great, but I'll get to that second) The Issue I have is the Dark Vibroblade, we know the history on it and its connection to Clan Vizsla, we also know that Darth Maul took it. and that's where the concern happens, what is the policy/ rule on items of Lore already strongly developed into star wars? I am not exactly fond of the idea of players running around claiming to have Revan's Mask, or Malgus' armor, or even the Darksaber here. If the judges are ok with it I will be too, but I had to voice that concern. Now, onto the Build its self! Pointblank's room is great, dark and shadowy like a prospective Dark Troopers room should be. I love the shelf of helms and the display case for the hilt under the bed. the battle arena is clean and clear as it should be and even without the Mythosour skull there is a distinct Mandalorian feel to it. the Skull its self does bug me slightly the eyes are a bit to small, I'd like to see it revised slightly for the larger eye sockets. its a homerun in my book!
  25. Nice ship! Overbuild really did a wonderful job designing this ship . glad to see people still bringing back memories of what I believe was the greatest game we've ever had! keep the Imagination Nexus alive in you!
