Wrong my friend. Fans do have the rights to report on fake products been sold.

What ebay said is that regarding to trademark policy, they have a priority to the reporting lists, cause they gets thousands of reports per day, and it takes hours to go through on them.. so because of that - if they receiving lot of reports on a Single list, it gets high priority and they immediately review it. Sp This is the whole idea of the facebook page - to cause a lot of reports on every counterfeit list. And about how will be target - those who sells those counterfeit LEGO without knowing they counterfeit are not on our sights, they are innocent, and its easy to tell if a seller is innocent or a crook.. Those crooks will be reported - it's easy to tell who they are, like they will be from China, be listed it under LEGO category so it will coms up in the search result when you searching for LEGO but their title wont say the word LEGO..

I guess that all here are aware to the increasing phenomenon of the rise of Chinese counterfeits LEGO, phenomenon that kills the pleasure in searching for buying and selling LEGO online, especially on ebay. LEGO are doing their job in fighting those Chinese counterfeits company's by Courts and lawsuits in China, but we all know it's kind of useless.. We contact ebay about this matter and what they Said is that their people are trying to search for counterfeits items, but in order to make things More efficient, they asking for the customers of ebay to report on an item if we see it's a fake on. They also Mentioned that they are well aware that if one or two will report it, the processes time for them to check the item list and to remove it will be slow, but if they will see that lot of customers complains on an item, they are immediately taking action. Therefor, and in order to make things More efficient, we have opened the official organisation against counterfeits LEGO Facebook page - which is basically a Facebook fan page of LEGO but in that page we can post the links of the fake LEGO list that all of us find on ebay and then all of us can report it, rather then the current situation that each one report on the list he finds, but no one else did.. We are now almost 5,000 members ! Hello you all :) I want to tell you about a story that happened to me so all of you will know to look out from those Chinese lego fakes. My son loves all lego (like his dad) and i let him buy once in a while his favorite figs on ebay.. Recently he ordered a set of lego star wars figs that he found at a really cheap price and he was so excited !! But after the parcel arrived to our home he was shocked to find out that those figs are so poor quality and in fact they are a fake LEGO star wars from China!! He was so disappointed and sad because he waited so much for his package ... Because i was angry i made a check and i found that those Chinese LEGO fake are now a huge hit in China, and recantly have become very common on ebay. The problem is that those sellers don't state at the title that it's "LEGO" but they list it under lego category so every time you will look for lego products, those fakes will come up in the search result . in that way customers don't notice this is not a real lego and accidentally buy it. This is destroying the experiences of searching & buying lego on ebay.... It was looked very odd to me that ebay allows to sell such kind of replicas so i called ebay and told them the story and asked how come that they don't do anything about it and removes those lists, so they told me that its not allowed to sell those items because it's not only a trademark violation of lego products but its also a trademark violation of Marvel & Disny, and that they only recently become aware to this matter and thanks to customer complaints , and that they are acting to remove each list that offer those fakes, but because they only recently become aware that lots of those products are been sold on ebay, its hard for them to keep up and find them all. So what ebay customer support asked from me to do is that every time i will run into a list that offer to sell those fakes i will press the "report item" button that shows at each list page and report it as fake, and in that way it will help them to keep up in the war against those fake legos. So i'm posting it here beacuse i think its important that all of you will be aware to this phenomenon..! You are right my friend..Unfortunately this is true. But the customers have the power to keep those fakes out of our area and in this case ebay, cause if the customers will report it as fake on each list that sells them then ebay will remove it. So the last place that they could sell those fakes is in China.. which don't effect us cause we are not buying from there.

Indeed they don't state at the title the word "LEGO" but they are listing it as LEGO : Toys & Hobbies>Building Toys>LEGO>Bulk Bricks & Lots>Figures In that way when you search for LEGO those lists will come up at the search result and then kids and others will mistake and will fall for this trap....this is the problem. ebay don't allowed to sell those fakes so therefor when reporting it as fake lego brand they do remove it
