I am excited to share some major progress on the Land Bounty build. I have tested and worked out all the major components, everything is fitting very well together. I have only a few minor things to finish, such as the small car that stores in the back. I am hoping to gets some sails and decals printed in the next week or so, then I can take some better final pictures. Let me know your thoughts! Instructions will be following soon.

A little more progress! The cab module stacks onto the base chassis as expected, allowing for easy playability on the interior. This thing is massive! You can also get a better view of the engine bay.

A few more updates as I build this beast! I took a few detailed shots of the lower level interior so you can see the kitchen, toilet, stove, and bedroom areas.

I was finally able to start building the Land Bounty in real bricks. I am working through the instructions to iron out the details and make sure there are no major building errors. I added a few extra details into the main cab area, its looking great so far!

Here is a look at the small car / vehicle that is stowed in the back. I wanted to use some newer off road tires from the jungle sets but I couldn't find them in the inventory of available parts in studio. I also mocked up the cover of the instruction booklet with a fun render comp with background. I added in how the decals will look - just like the official set.

For those that are interested, you can PM me for the parts list. According to studio, it looks like it has 6,552 parts. The model is about 78cm long.

I was inspired by the Playmobil Ferry they made a while back as well.

Hello! I am excited to share my car ferry MOC here on Euro bricks. I loved the Lego set 60119 that came out a few years ago, I thought it was a fantastic little build and a great addition to my town display. I got to thinking though that it would be amazing if I could fit more than 1-2 cars on the ferry, the playability would be much more elevated and add to the realism. I went on to create a ferry to fit 6 wide vehicles which were the norm a while back. 8 wide will fit too but just not as many. It is not based on any particular real-life ship, but has inspiration from many smaller island and tour ferrys that I have been on. I chose a lively color scheme to compliment the build, but also to utilize bricks that are not super rare. I unfortunately only have renders to share currently, as I tore apart the physical model to create the digital model and instructions! I never got around to taking photos, which I will fix in the future for sure. The model was definitely built in the brick to verify sturdiness and structure, it is quite solid. Features: Folding loading doors front and rear Mechanical room A pilot house with removable roof openable doors life preservers seating for passengers winding anchors A cheery but rough looking crew You can find this model on Rebrickable if you want to build a version yourself:) I have had requests for an 8 wide vehicle version, and may consider releasing instructions for a larger version in the future if there is enough interest. Thanks! I have a first draft of the instructions almost done. I need to build the model physically and do the final verification process however. They should be ready by the end of next month!

I want to share my recent ongoing project, a UCS scale version of the Ninjago Land Bounty. I thought the original set was such a fun concept, but the scale was just a little small for a flagship set for the line, so I decided to try and scale it up a bit. I added more play features, interactivity with multiple removable decks, and more room for the crew! I am just about finished with the digital build and need to re-create it in the brick (all the stages have been physically built previously, but I needed to tear it apart to preproduce the digital model and made edits). I am still working on the sails and adding graphics similar to the original. Here are some renders below, let me know your thoughts! The larger wheel size will become too expensive I am afraid to 3D print. Probably 15-20 EUR per tire, no rim. This would need to be cast. I think the standard 62mm lego tire is pretty good actually, but perhaps a new rim would be valuable? I will mock one up when I get a moment today.

I wanted to share some minor progress on the custom tires. I have modeled up some off road tire tread, let me know what you think. I will order a set to be printed this week of the on road tires, so I will update everyone interested once the results come in.

I think 8-9 Euro each for the 40.5mm (rim and tire set of 1) would be a realistic price for very low quantity production. I will price them out and see where we go!

To answer everyones questions, a rim and tire set for the 62mm wheel scale is equally feasible, however the cost will about double. It seams like there is great interest in this size, I should have some time next week to mock something up! With that said, what is a price point bracket you would be willing to pay for the 40mm wheels and 62mm wheels? Assume a set of 4 (4 tires, 4 rims)
