Pure masterpiece! Your trucks look amazing! Front wheel cover add a lot of realism to them. Where did you get the tires? Best regards! Miha -

I don't know the actual car, but this would be worth having on a shelf! I like the red one the most. Fantastic job! Congratulations! -
@9v system, yes it is :-) I had such small layouts a couple of times on our LUG's exhibitions (2 days in a row). I am glad you like it. I stopped doing it,... in the end it turned out that there was always something to tweek and I just didn't feel like picking up the balls all the time. Funny thing is, that when you adjust something it works very well, maybe even for hours, but then suddenly it goes nuts and you need to adjust/repair again... I still love a good GBC, but not taking care of it for two consecutive days ;-)

Congratulations to all the winners! My podium choice exactly! Great entries overall, as someone wrote before - getting a MOC finished is a great victory in itself Amazing stuff has been presented in this contest! And by the way, of course @Thirdwigg you cannot feel in the same league as me, I am way way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind you. I am amazed by the quality and the quantity of MOCs you are able to produce and I envy you the time, will and inspiration to do so. A more than deserved rainbow of medals for you! Cheers!

Hello everybody, I would like to present you my first ever architecture style MOC, that was built for our LUG's forum Architecture competition. It's called Whydooshna Metropolis, but more on that weird name later. First some shots... The biggest challenge was to find good enough amount of bricks to finish a building, as most of my inventory consists of Technic parts. I tried to use some fancy techniques but only manged to do some snot and double-oriented plates in the base plate... Regarding the buildings, I immediately decided to make fictitious skyscrapers, as it is hard enough as it is and I really admire those who are able to reproduce real buildings in such small details. Now about that weird name: Whydooshna is read in English the same as we pronounce my home time in our dialect. It is correctly written Ajdovščina, but we call it Wajdušna and if I want it to sound like we say it in English... it became Whydooshna My fellow countrymen are also fond of a joke, because we say W instead A in front of our town's name: Name three places that start with "W". -Wimbledon, Washington and Wajdušna (Whydooshna) I know... not that funny, but I guess everyone has a not-so-funny joke up his sleeve. Anyway, I hope you like my Metropolis, I apologise for the photos not being of the finest quality. Thank you for your attention and constructive criticism. I put below some more details about the creation... Best regards! Miha

Endless Ball Track

Great idea indeed!!! -
Well, there's been a few before... I guess we'll have to se(a)e where the treacherous currents will take my little boat
-
Heheh, who knows, maybe I will...although I am mostly a Technic builder. But it is a very nice venture to try the "normal" bricks from time to time.
-
Wow, thank you for the honor! Cheers!!!
-
@Marooned Marin, I like your way of thinking very much!
-
Wow, this is a fantastic story, very entertaining indeed . And you are a mastermind in logical thinking - I wouldn't have thought of that solution, never... You guys actually gave more substance to this little build, for what I am very grateful. Thank you also to all for nice words and praise. I am glad you like it. But please, do forgive me for a little dirty trick - the corner tiles are unfortunately not attached at all. I wish I was such a master, to actually achieve firm contact, but the fact is, that they only hang on the open corner of the bottom plate and fit quite nicely in the gap between snotted ones. They sit fine, but when moving the vignette, they usually have to be put back in place. Best regards!

The worst penalty of them all, stranded on a small lonely little island with only one bottle of rum... A small 10x10 vignette for our lug's CMF-vignette contest. Yo Ho! Yo Ho! A pirates life for me... Best regards, Miha
