  1. It's really hard to pick a favorite scene. The lighting and effects on the carbonite chamber are especially good. I can't believe Lego isn't asking you if they can use the images in merchandise. They could make a Star Wars Lego Encyclopedia photobook out of it and it would do incredibly well.
  2. This really is something special. Like, you could make these into books on Shutterfly and sell them; they're that fun and cool.

Jerac's Tie Advanced is one of, if not my favorite, star wars MOC of all time. The accuracy of the profile still blows me away every time I look at it. The fact that the rear saucer panel slopes downward inline with the original studio model... who would even think to try to do that? Jerac.
  4. No problem :) I thought it worth splurging to get the old style of clip for this stunning model. It makes a big difference.
  5. It looks like something that could fit in Rebels!
  6. Any chance you guys could post the parts list some place for bricklink? Fantastic job recreating Marshal's.
  7. If you search the forum enough (or google it and look for eurobricks link) someone here put together an LDD file for it. It wasn't perfect, and had some substitutions, but it got you most of the way there. I used that for the purposes of getting a parts list, and then used it combined with Inthert's photographs for assembling it. Be for warned; it is a painful and difficult process. Probably the most frustrating thing I've built and minutes-per-piece the most time consuming.
  8. That looks phenomenal compared to the original, especially for the scale you're working with.

Likely Brickwright's. His is excellent, I have it on display. I'd say they are on par with each other.

Purchasing instructions off BrickVault provides an easy process for the buyer, quality PDF instructions, and a parts list. I've purchased and built models direct from Rasko and Onecase, as well as Jerac's on Brickvault. Either way, it's a steal for what you are getting. I can't imagine the time and effort that goes into those creations; they are incredible. The money they get amounts to almost nothing for their time. It's really just a way to show appreciation and respect. I'll have to build this Y-Wing at some point. <3 Vader's Tie Advanced, Jerac is just on another level.
  11. I was shocked at the side-by-side comparison shot next to the UCS model; this thing is enormous.
  12. There's a lot of really great texturing on this build that really makes it come to life in a way that the animation doesn't show; yet it's still very true to the animation. The engines are fantastic and the piece count and scale are great. This is true UCS quality and at a scale many of us will gladly build. I love it.
  13. Not at all! This version might not be as solid as your original, but it's still swooshable. You could probably figure out a better way for the connections than I did. I'll try to post a few pictures that show it in detail this week.
  14. I finally got around to making Jerac's Tie. I must say, the design is most impressive. I don't know how on earth he thought of parts of it but it's fantastic. I decided to try to take the wings from my Tie fighter and see if I could transfer in Jerac's cockpit and struts. I'm quite pleased with the final look.
  15. Wouldn't you just list those as any color then in the xml file? Or is that not possible.
  16. Can anyone who has built it advise on possible color substitutions? Looking at the parts list, there are quite a few red pieces which don't appear to be visible in the pictures. Aside from a few red tiles and a couple dark red slopes, I don't see any red; however, a lot of those pieces would be easier to procure in either dark bluish gray or light bluish gray.
  17. Looks like my timing for building this is perfect!
  18. I sent you a PM reference the instructions.

This really is impressive. So many parts are so well done, and the photography and lighting are excellent. The death star control room and detention block are probably my favorites, but it's hard to decide!
  20. I finally finished building mine, and I must say it is a lovely model. I did some significant reworking of the exterior greebling and detailing, basing it off of the 32" model used in ESB. I also polished the interior up a bit for fun. And lastly, I built a custom display table based off one that someone had linked earlier in the thread.
  21. I would just show it here. I bet you're glad you got it finished given the Lego takeover of BL :)
  22. I can't believe how good that looks. The greebling is gorgeous. And that side profile... incredible.
  23. This is going to look better in bricks than it did in CGI. I love the texturing of the bridge. I will definitely be purchasing.
  24. "People keep telling me they know me. No one does." Just stopped caring at that point. To be fair, I barely cared up until that point.
  25. I just bought everything at once and ordered about 5-10% extra depending on pieces (excluding large or rare stuff). 15,000 pieces is a staggering amount and you will inevitably miss things. Spread out on the floor and organized it probably takes up an 8x12 space.
