Which UCS sets to keep and which to sell?
I would keep the Shuttle for sure, and I personally love 10019 so I would never sell mine. It's like owning a vintage corvette. Sure it's not as fast or aggressive looking as a C7, but its got style ;) Rasko's ATAT is leaps and bounds better than 10178 and is very affordable. If you're building Oncecase's Executor (which is a stunning model) you might as well scrap 10221 which is horrifically inaccurate. As for 10030, I'll be the lone dissent. I considered selling it after building the Aggressor, but instead just ended up making lots of modifications and now I have the makings of an imperial fleet. If display space is an issue, that could be a factor. I was never a fan of any of the small star ship models like the snow speeder, x wing, tie etc. as I prefer minifig scale and I think there are better minifig versions out there than the actual UCS ones. Slave I being the lone exception. Jerac's Ties are great. Jerac/Inthert's x-wing is the definitive x-wing. A few great y-wings out there; I love Brickwright's. Anothergol's ATST is excellent. Renegade's b-wing, Jerac's a-wing, Lildime's snowspeeder, etc. Lots of options.

[INSTRUCTIONS] Executor class Star Dreadnought
Got everything ordered. A little over $800 with shipping, most of it new pieces. If you're planning on building this in the USA, using Bricks and Pieces for select parts will save you a lot of money. Also, the easy/auto order function on bricklink is not all that great for this particular build. I'm not sure why; I've used it in the past (The Agressor) and wasn't able to beat it's prices manually, but for this I saved about $200 by selecting a few stores manually and editing the orders. I ordered about 2,200 pieces off Bricks & Pieces which has fixed shipping of $3 so that saves a ton. The original cost without B&P and manual selection was about $1,200. If you really wanted to watch the pennies you could check every lot vs Bricks & Pieces and manually build the entire order; you might be able to do it for ~$750. Not too bad.

[MOC] Star Wars: The X-Wing Story
Impressive. Looks a lot like Inthert's, which is a good thing, since that's one of my favorite mocs :)

PRESS RELEASE for LEGO 75222 - Betrayal at Cloud City Announcement
I'll echo what a lot of others have said. I think the biggest drawback is that from 10 feet away you can't even tell what the set is. There is zero mistaking the death star, or even Hoth, but an average fan probably wouldn't even know what this is until they study it. The piece count just isn't high enough to justify having the Slave 1 present. Better to flush out the base and make it circular with more "city" details on top so that it appears more iconic. I'll say this for it, it has a lot of modding options, which some might really like. It would be very easy to put a base under the carbon chamber, flush it out a bit, move the lightsaber duel over to existing platform, and build that out and move it elsewhere. My biggest complaint with the death star was always I could find so very few ways to improve it :)

[MOC] Star Wars Episode VIII - The Last Jedi - First Order Invasion on Crait
I think the texture is done very well, and you captured Crait well. Unfortunately, I think TLJ has simply done a tremendous amount of harm to Star Wars, and by extension, Lego Star Wars. The enthusiasm just isn't there for the sequels. I personally can't get excited about anything from Ep. 8, and that is now even bleeding over in Ep. 7 which I loved originally. Maybe JJ can retcon the crap out of Ep. 9 and bring it roaring back.

I like the second one more.

ISD Aggressor (Star Destroyer MOC w interior and instructions)
I had everything on the floor and used the baggies they came in as well as some additional ones to keep the parts separate. I then sorted them into major sections with categories such as tiles, plates, wedges, bricks, greebles etc, with the categories containing the largest number of pieces (i.e. tiles) closest to me. Within each section I divided them by colors. Make no mistake; there is no magic way to make the logistics of this easy. It is a staggering number of pieces taking up a crazy amount of space when laid out.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
I don't envy the designer tasked with making a UCS Cloud City set. Despite all the amazing creations we see around here, I can't recall (correct me if I'm wrong) seeing a single Cloud City MOC worthy of a UCS label. At least with the Death Star, you could make a spherical frame, toss a crater on it, all people instantly recognize it. This seems much harder to strike a balance between exterior appearance and interior details.

Going to go ahead and say that this is not legit.

[MOC] Incom T-65 X-wing
It is not for the feint of heart ;) Definitely the most challenging MOC i've ever assembled, and that includes Rask's 15,000 piece Aggressor. A lot of that is due to the fact that I was working off a combination of an LDD that someone had created with some changes, and the pictures provided by Inthert, instead of regular PDF instructions.

SFS TIE/sa Bomber
Looks great. I'm still planning on building the tie bomber. As for Rebel fighters, you are in luck, because Jerac's A wing is actually the standard again for it. https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/84860-moc-ldd-a-wing-with-ldd-file/ I built Brickwright's Y-wing, which I think is arguably the best mini-fig scale version out there. Instructions link in his comments. https://www.flickr.com/photos/brickwright/21240509929

[MOC] Executor class Star Dreadnought
This is extremely well done and one of my favorite versions as you picked a great scale and your attention to detail is on par with the best. The greebling on the super city, and particularly the engine area is beautiful. It's not overly done, but the more you look, the more details you find. I love it. I would absolutely build this. Second, looking at your photostream you've done some great work and I'm suprised I wasn't aware of it. That Star Destroyer bridge looks like ILM built it. Incredible. Now, if only there was a Eurobricks member with experience making high quality instructions for complex star destroyer builds out there....

UCS Zeta-Class Cargo Shuttle
Good grief, that looks heavy. And awesome. The top hull plating is especially nice. Do you think it will hold up structurally over time, given the weight?

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
I can't believe we're finding out about a UCS Y-Wing from the actual box in a store. Lego is running an air-tight ship these days ;) As for the Y-Wing, it looks fantastic. It does appear to be minifig scale, at least to me. The cockpit is perhaps not as well done as some of the MOCs out there or as well as it could be, but the rest of the ship holds its own against any of the renditions we've seen. I've got Brickwright's Y-Wing but I think I'll have to pick this up as well. After all, no two Y-Wings are the same!

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Pretty much, yeah. Popularity does tend to extend the sales period though. The Death Star was sold for something like 8 years before the update.

ISD Aggressor (Star Destroyer MOC w interior and instructions)
A fun shot of the Aggressor patrolling the Death Star (room) A made a few small edits to the bridge to bring the scale a bit more in line.
