I'll be getting all these, as I don't have any of the older Pirates sets. They all look good to me, but so far I'm disappointed that I haven't seen a parrot or a monkey. They're both classic animals that I'd want to appear in this theme.
Can someone explain to me why they make prelim box art in the first place, and what it's used for. I mean, why go to the trouble of making prelims, and then do it all again when the pieces are finalised?
Unfortunately, I don't think they'd extend the license just for a D2C set. If they did extend it they'd give us a complete wave to maximize their investment. It's sad, they had so many cool designs, but at this time it doesn't look like we'll see them in Lego form.
