  1. There was this one show a few years ago on Cartoon Network called Symbiotic Titan. Good show, but the merchandise didnt sell so the show didnt get a second season. (IMO the merchandise was pretty ugly...) So I would think the answer to your question is probably 'No'. Unless Hasbro was doing it and spent a LOT on advertising. I mean a hell of a lot.
  2. Are you ever going to build the fleet? Minus the base I assume.
  3. Isnt this kind of a Necro? The thread had been dead since 2011...
  4. I dont actually like this idea but I like the colors so im voting for it anyway.
  5. Whoa. Was that a real minidoll or is that some kind of joke? Futuron Friends! That sounds like a TV show lol
  6. About the integrity, which ships are you referring to? Is the Imperial Flagship bad integrity or something? Because im not a Pirates fan and dont know of any other big ships, other than the PotC ones. Or are those the ones youre referring to?
  7. I agree with Venk, Im still hoping/waiting for TLG to make a Raven Legend Beast. It was the only one I would want, they havnt made one, and I wouldnt know how to go about making my own. Well, I guess I could sort of copy Eris's eagle beast design but in black...
  8. We may not get a CS revival in 2016, but I wonder if they will have some other space set. Then again they neglect to update castle for years at a time, so I guess space isnt that different. Really sad, because at one point space was the cornerstone of TLG. Now its just something they keep going for tradition... And Star Wars isnt the only problem, though its one of the major ones. I mean, the other space themes in the last decade just dont sell as well as say, Blacktron I, did, I dont think.
  9. Is there any way to verify whether this is true or not? Though, 2016 would be a good time to release. GS will have been 3 years old at that point, and thats about when they replace their scifi/castle sets.
  10. I know most of us would truly enjoy a Neo-Classic space theme, but I just dont know how likely that would be, and I also dont know how popular something like that would be outside the Space AFOL community.
  11. Which set is the Dragon Barding from?
  12. Wait, do guilds have dedicated forums or something? Or just Avalonia?
  13. Hi im new here. I just got out of my dark ages, maybe a couple months ago. Does anyone have any tips as to how to get started, what kind of bricks I should start with? I want to do Nocturnus but have no ideas other than that. I have some ideas for my sigfig, I think im supposed to start with that first, but I dont know where to go after that. Any advice on what kind of bricks to buy to start with? I know tan is useful for the desert faction and white is useful for Mitgard, but I dont know what Nocturnus is supposed to start with. When is the next competition I could join? And what are these talks of Historica Universities and things? I admit im rather confused. Does anyone have any help for how to get into this? This GoH thing is sort of intimidating.
  14. You did read that AVC. I read the same thing. But just because theyre going to make new space sets doesnt mean theyre going to make new Classic space sets like Benny's SSS.
  15. It supposed to look like a child just got a bunch of random sh*t together and made his own thing from his imagination. Though I highly doubt there are any children making 2500 piece MOCs... Bennys spaceship, on the other hand, I can envision a child making. Not saying its a bad ship design, Benny's SSS is clearly professionally built but still captures the idea of a childs creativity. I dont think the Sea Cow really does that. I think for most people this set isnt worth buying. If you want a pirate ship, better to wait for next years Pirates reboot. If you want a Lego Movie set, get Benny's SSS, which is a good model. All the Lego Scifi fans love this thing to pieces, and children probably like it too. The Sea Cow is too expensive and parts intensive to be a true childs toy. This is clearly a set aimed at collectors, but its hard to say WHICH collectors. Its not Pirate enough for the LEGO Pirates crowd, its not steampunk enough for the LEGO Steampunk crowd, and the AFOLs who collect LEGO Movie sets are probably going to skip over this one in favor of the smaller sets unless theyre OCD and have to have every single one to complete the collection. And since its a 16+ model, being too hard for children, its hard to say who the target demographic of this set is. That, I think, is the sets main problem.
