  1. http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=44809 ...Thanks Alex -> is that really the same piece? The picture from your instructions looks totally different than that piece you linked. Just want to make sure before I place an order. Any tips on figuring out which gear is which from your 42009 boom instructions? Cheers steph
  2. tempting. Looks good.
  3. Well I picked up the 75055 for my kids for xmas. Inaccuracies aside, I typically go with bigger is better but with the 6211 not being as sturdy, and with younger kids, it was a no brainer. ~S
  4. Hi there.... I'm working on adding the extended boom to my stock 42009 set using the instructions here: http://www.bricksafe.../Boom 42009.pdf and/or from this MOC here to reverse engineer and figure out what parts I need. Being a total novice, and as neither has a bricklink parts list, i'm working my way backwards towards figuring out what extra parts I need. Apart from the gears which seem impossible to be sure which is correct from the pics in the instructions, the only other piece I just can't find for the life of me is pictured in Alex's instructions in this Grove 6400 MOC....3rd column from the right, 2nd part down that requires 8 pieces....it's a light bluish gray 3 way connector piece. I just can't find this at all in the bricklink catalogue. Could anyone please point me in the right direction on the part # for this piece. Thanks in advance for any help someone could provide and also any pointers if there's a better way to figure this stuff out. SIncerely Steph
  5. Well this one's on my boys xmas list, per their request, mostly for the minifigs I think. Need the set with groot too. ~S
  6. 42009....now looking at the wonderful MOCs. Starting with the extended boom.
  7. Love it all. Looks like a blast.
  8. Been xmas hunting for my boys....So far have the AT-AT at $70CAD, the Ghost at $50CAD, and the Star Destroyer at $80CAD. Off craigslist so no taxes either. Picked up the Technic crane 42009 for the boys, but really myself too. Can't wait for that one. I'm glued to these forums for the MOCs on that one. ~S ...almost forgot the two SW advent calendars for the boys. It's been an annual stable for a couple of years now. Love it.
  9. Great screen grabs from the show. S
  10. Just following up on Mobruu's question....is there a parts list for Afol's extended boom. I'm having a hard time finding and ensuring i've accurately got all the correct part numbers from the AFOL's boom instructions based solely on the pictures. Any help would be *greatly* appreciated. Steph
  11. Hi there, Just respectfully following up with the previous request for a Boom parts list that can be loaded into bricklink or brickstore. Being a newbie to purchasing parts, trying to figure out the necessary parts from the pictures in the instructions allows for way too much possibility for me messing it up ;) Thanks to everyone.
