  1. That's an awesome first effort! Looks so homely.
  2. I put my two sets on ebay (not as an auction!) if anyone's interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151696116594?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  3. I'm interested to see whether any of the next lot of sets will have the rapid fire action that the Wookiee Gunship has (you can get 12 shots off in two seconds!). If I could go back in time and show myself as a ten year old that kind of firepower it would have blown his/my mind!
  4. I have two bike shop sets to sell together as one 'lot' if anyone's interested in recreating this set or having a go at their own version!
  5. Cool, thanks. If you think you could survive then you're welcome to my PR for £100!
  6. Well I'd like to, but my girlfriend has made it clear in vaguely passive aggressive terms that 'we won't have room'...I think I lost my leverage with how much it's going to cost to ship out my record collection.
  7. I inadvertently posted this in the city thread before when it's obviously more relevant here, so here I go again: I'm moving abroad and so I'm going to have sell the few modulars I've accumulated. What's the best way to do it? Should I ebay or try via forum like this one? I have the Pet Shop, the Parisian Restaurant (which I love) and two bike shop sets that I'd like to sell as one 'lot'.

  9. I never expected the BBT apartment set to make it through review for all the licensing related reasons listed above. If sitcoms are now acceptable to TLG then maybe I should start work on a Community study room...
  10. Man, I hesitate to even link this as it's surely got to be the scammiest scam site to ever scam, right...? But their modular prices make me weep with optimism: link removed
  11. I can still see the Town Hall listed on the JL site? It is showing as out of stock though. I just found a 'used - like new' GE on Amazon marketplace, but it literally sold out in the time it took me to log in. Unbelievable.
  12. The GE was only officially sold in the UK by Lego themselves and John Lewis, and it's now vanished completely from the latter's website so I'm guessing that's it. I stupidly believed someone on another forum who stated that the PS was next to retire and treated myself to that earlier in the month, now I'm going to have to pay over the odds for the GE.
