  1. It is big. At this moment, I only concentrate on the crane and the stabilizer. I have no plan to build a truck and mount the crane on it.
  2. How to upload more photos here ?
  3. Hello Guys, Introducing my MOC, Track Mounted Crane. It is based on the most popular track mounted crane around the world. I referenced the most popular brands/manufacturers, for e.g. FASSI, PM, PALFINGER, EFFER, etc. Details: 1) All Motors, battery boxes and IR receivers are located at the bottom side 2) 360 degree turntable with un-limited turns 3) 4 x XL motors 4) 3 x large linear actuators 5) 2 x IR receivers 6) 2 x IR controllers 7) 2 x battery boxes 8) 3 axle functions trough 1 turntable (idea from blueShinyApple, thank you for your idea) 9) Foldable of arm and extendable boom, fold up when it is in standby or transportation 10) 2 sections of extendable boom, total length is approx. 56 studs (maybe longer Now, it is still in the design stage and a preliminary structure/skeleton. This MOC started already 5 months. It seems too slow. It is same age with my 2nd son. I spare most of the time for him, hehe. I hope I can complete the first working version in the coming few months. Enjoy Building!
  4. Thank you for your very important information. For my MOC truck mounted crane, I will share it in a new post later this week.
  5. Thank you for all information. Hi Milan How to identify the version of LA ?
  6. If I use a gear set to increase the torque to double XL motor's torque, will damage the large LA ? Or what is the maximum acceptable input torque of large LA ?
  7. Thanks Rum & Zblj replies. From the video, a LA can give out about 3.5kg with a XL motor driven.
  8. Because the design of the crane is on a 360 degree turntable (unlimited turns). All power functions are at the bottom side of the turntable. And I have no pneumatic functions parts. hehe.
  9. Hello Everybody! I have a technical question about the large actuator. I am making a truck mount crane. And will use 2 large linear actuator to lift the main arm up. I want to know: 1) the maximum lifting force of the actuator 2) the maximum input torque of the actuator Could anyone can help on this ? Many Thanks!
