2x4Studios replied to 2x4Studios's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingTo be honest, your commentary is what made the video so great to watch! You shared information on nearly ALL the modules and kept a perfect pace. You should be very proud of the GBC this year, it was certainly a crowd favorite.

[GBC] The GBC at Brickvention Australia
Holy moly the GBC at Brickvention Australia was Huge. Brickvention if one of the largest Lego conventions in Australia, It's composed of builders from all over the country. This year the GBC team went above and beyond making a fantastic display. Rohah - The co-ordinator of the GBC walked me through all the different modules and explained what everything was. He was a fantastic speaker so all credit to him Without further ado, The Brickvention 2017 GBC!

Lego Pneumatic Engine V4 [MOC]
VIDEO: Here is my Lego Pneumatic V4 The engine is based on the OOOONeoGamerOOOO design but it's heavily modded and reverse engineered. I made the engine to be compatible with the new switches compared to the brick ones. I really don't have any intention of getting any of the brick ones as I don't build much with Technic bricks enough to justify. I haven't modded the switches as well, I had a go but ended up just breaking the valve. instead, I just heavily lubricated with WD40. The pistons are modded however, I originally lubricated with grease but after I experiment WD40 worked better with faster engines. Although it isn't as strong as my V8 (Video below) I think that it's a step in the right direction. the engine can get up to 800RPM when connected directly to the air compressor but for filming purposes, I had to fill a tank with air and use that to power the engine, Eather way I'm happy with 200 RPM. I'd love to hear your tips and tricks on how you made your engines better. My plans are to now build a grad racer or car around the engine, I'd love to hear ideas on that too. Please sub to my YouTube as it helps me make videos and motivates me to do more. Please comment below, I'd love to hear what you think!!

[MOC] Bucket Wheel Excavator
2x4Studios replied to 2x4Studios's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAlas, you have found my biggest regret in the model! I would have loved to have slewing action but I was pushed for time. The major difficulties I encountered were the large weaknesses in the turntable joints. Thinking about it now, I could of had it pivot on a turntable and have weight bearing on a wheel system or slider surrounding the turntable. The undercarriage has a subtractor in it so I sacrificed speed and power for percussion on the spot turning.

Although the Batman Tumbler craze has well moved on I just wanted to share my latest time-lapse video of me making it If you want to see more then subscribe. Cinematic Lego Filming
I've always been a very keen Technic builder, Although many of my creations aren't up-to professional standards I try to strive on filming. I have been building since as long as I can remember but only recently have started filming my creations professionally, I am to keep videos short, Sweet and engaging to even a non Technic or even Lego minded audience. My YouTube Channel is here: https://www.youtube....5doOyrA9nVINEnA Earlier this year I kicked off my YouTube hobby with my first Lego video, it took around 3 months to make. In this video i wasn't focusing on the Lego build itself, I spend $0 on the making of it. The camera if a rip-off GoPro i found and fixed, the editing software was MovieMaker, the dolly was made of Lego and scrap wood. I want to show how effective filming doesn't need a huge budget. A few months later I went into 3D imposing Graphics in video as seen in the intro of my second video. Though I know this Pneumatic isn't hugely impressive I focused my attention on Cinematic filming techniques, angles and other things. I used Adobe Premiere and After Effects together to make the whole product. After a break, I went back into filming for a Rover I made, This robot simply drove around and avoided obstructions in its path, I wanted to convey emotion in this robot though through the use of film and colour correction. Now that I have had experience with filming and editing I wanted to work on color correcting, Here is a video I made of my dinosaur MOC, the original video footage was bland and dull, the Yellow looked musty and the backdrop looked grey, So I had a play with some coloring. Please feel free to give any feedback, give any suggestions, want to contact me or even just a "hi"
