What a way to starting posting on Eurobricks, this is utterly wonderful.
  2. Mind if I ask what supermarket that was? I saw one or two in Coop over a year back, but that's it.
  3. Given that Jang buys everything himself, rather than receive anything from LEGO, the fact that it is still a couple of weeks from launch is exactly why he hasn't reviewed it yet. As for Brick Show, I know much less about, but there's no obligation on LEGO's part to send out anything for early review. But anyway, that AT-TE looks rather funky. I pretty much only buy OT stuff, but the disheveled look of it is rather endearing and makes me consider picking it up.
  4. It's also been given away in Toys R Us in Scandinavia. The "hold and see for your region" advice is solid though.
  5. This has been my first ever constraction set, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. When building the torso I wasn't really sure what was going on, but it all came together rather marvelously in the end. As you say in the review (great work by the way), the cape really ties it all together at the end.

And the battery is newer, ergo more charged up.

A pity though, I wouldn't mind me a lego goatsheep.

Great, thanks for these, hoping that the small vignettes are as good as the one's we've had so far this year. The plane is already out, yes, unsurprising available only through Lufthansa. A sticker instead of a printed torso on the minifig though, yeurgh. The flower wagon was the promotional set that came out at the same time as the Detective's Office, and is part of the whole biscuit smuggling story. Finally, the new year set, it is indeed a sheep (or goat, depending upon the translation) set, and was only available somewhere in the far east if I recall correctly. I think you're exactly right, it would look like the gingerbread house is one of the 2 bonus sets. Given today's reveal of the winter toy shop, I would imagine the winter train is the second bonus set though, so likely similar in size, or a touch larger, than the Emerald Express.

As someone who missed out on the original version, I will most definitely be picking this up, it looks like a fantastic introduction into the Winter Village sets. Am fully expecting a lot of dissappointment from those that have the previous version though.
  10. Raptor Escape is listed as "Out of Stock" in Europe, but with an estimated shipping date of September 9th, perhaps suggesting that more are indeed being made. Or I suppose they might simply be redistributing them from other sources, I don't really know how it works
  11. There's also a brick built oliphaunt and balrog, which is fun, but both would be far too big for the physical counterpart to be included in a dimensions pack. Sauron though, who knows... Edit: If you want a look for yourself, the trailer's here and you can see the balrog at 2:08 & 2:17 and the oliphaunt at 2:14
  12. Welcome to Eurobricks, mortiferum. As hachiroku says, post the pics and I'm sure people will help you out. As for where to buy replacement parts, bricklink.com is where most people would go. You may also find the pieces you need directly from Lego, from their pick-a-brick section on their online shop.
  13. The shuttle has been listed on a webshop here in Sweden as 949 kr, which works out to about €100 at current exchange rates http://www.webhallen.com/se-sv/lek_och_gadgets/217904-lego_star_wars_imperial_shuttle_tydirium_75094&atcl=search:live Admittedly Webhallen generally sells sets at a little below MSRP, but it's entirely possible you will be able to get it for a similar price in the Netherlands.
  14. The patent overuse of the word 'iconic' when used to describe a Lego set, or specifically the licensed source material, is thoroughly irritating. I wish they'd stop numbering bags, hunting through an enormous pile of bricks is part of the charm of building a set, quite aside from extending the length of time you get to enjoy assembling it. Echoing some others, I'm totally fine with what get commonly referred to as rehashes. I really really like Research Institute.
  15. Thank you. As for extending it with Uruk Hai army, that is the ONLY other set I don't own, a couple of polybags aside, and those are also about 50% above the original RRP on BL. I'm going to have to bite the bullet sooner or later, and prices aren't going to go down. From what I've heard here I'll end up with some pretty bad non-buyers remorse if I don't pull the trigger. Edit: Also, I feel the same about Orthanc, pretty much all my other sets will be getting parted out, or at least disassembled to free up space, eventually. I don't see that happening with the tower, but it conveniently has a rather small footprint whilst still being an impressive model.
