  1. To add to your investigation, I remember years back when the Pirates of the Caribbean sets were coming out someone on Eurobricks requested a replacement piece from LEGO for one of the initial sets released, but what they got instead was the Maccus hammerhead headpiece from the Black Pearl set, which at that point was only a rumour as it came out months after the first wave of sets. So this type of leak directly from LEGO customer service isn't totally unheard of.
  2. Is it possible they could've mistaken Drax for a Chitauri in the Benatar? Very similar figures, both bald and light bluish grey.
  3. If we are only getting that one set for one of the first 3 shows I'd guess it's definitely going to be for Falcon & the Winter Soldier. Based on what we've seen it looks like the easiest of the 3 for LEGO to make a typical set for. If that turns out to be the case then I'd also say Wanda, Vision and Loki are shoe-ins for the cmf series.
  4. I interpret that as meaning that IF Disney+ show sets happen they'll come out after the show has aired, like you've hinted before, so more spoilery elements could be included. I wonder how long of a gap there will be between a show airing and it's possible set(s) coming out.
  5. Still a little grainy but these scans are about the best I can do right now: https://imgur.com/a/pSNOFez With this closer look I can safely say this may be my favourite wave of Marvel figures yet. Though I have to laugh that Sersi and Ikaris, the leads of the movie, are the ones who get awful reused faces.
  6. I got the January 2021 catalogue in the mail today and lo and behold the Eternals sets were in there. I have to believe that the catalogue was printed before the movie was delayed again because there's no way these sets release tomorrow. They're the same pics from before but if anyone wants any extra details or anything just let me know!
  7. I believe Sersi is actually the Tina Goldsten headpiece (which is a horrible choice for Gemma Chan). Otherwise I think you nailed it!
  8. I'm sure we'll get sets for the Marvel Disney+ shows but if there was one show LEGO was going to skip I'd definitely say it'd be WandaVision. The marketing seems to be mostly focused on the sitcom-homage aspect of the show over the usual Marvel action and as much as I'd love a black and white living room set similar to the Big Bang Theory or Friends sets I'm not sure it's something LEGO would ever actually make.
  9. I know one of the Celestials is confirmed to be getting a Funko Pop, so Marvel is definitely pushing them through merchandise. A huge $100 Celestial would be absolutely amazing and open the door for a good Galactus down the line.
  10. Oh I agree the Celestials are WAY too big for that price point, I actually think it's likely the biggest set of the wave could be a massive Celestial build that's similar in size to the large mechs from the Monkie Kid theme. I'm just saying that the mechs and might micros are the only Marvel sets to ever have that $10 price point from what I can tell, so I think it's likely the Eternals set is something similar. Maybe a REALLY scaled down build of the Celestial from the biggest set with a minifig version of him? And as much as I love your idea for a small Black Knight set, he seems like the perfect figure for Lego to put exclusively in the biggest set of the wave.
  11. Looking at the prices for the Eternals sets, I think the smallest of the four may end up being another small mech set like the Iron Man/Thanos/Spider-Man ones from earlier this year. The 10€ price point fits that type of set more than the smallest sets from the Age of Ultron and Infinity War waves. Seems like an odd choice but we know very little about the movie so maybe Lego has their reasons. Perhaps some sort of Celestial mech?
  12. The pack looks great, surprised Lego was willing to put one of the summer wave's most desirable figures, with arm printing no less, in such a cheap set. Also I'm quite impressed with how big of a roster of game/comic based Avengers Lego managed to put out with only two small waves of sets. With Falcon they've now hit 10 main Avengers, with the possibility of more coming in the August sets!
  13. I guess there's still hope for some sort of retailer exclusive Falcon and Winter Soldier set, but it's not looking great at this point
  14. Seems likely, $30 sets typically used to have 4 figures so I hope US Agent is included, but if the Spider Jet, Spider Crawler and Black Widow set from this year are any indication we may only get the three you mentioned.
  15. Yeah this sounds like an all around fantastic wave! Super excited to see the Eternals sets. All that's missing is a Falcon and Winter Soldier set and like others have said, I could see one of the Eternals sets actually being for the show instead. (probably either the $25 one to give us Falcon, Bucky and Zemo or the $60 with those 3 plus US Agent and Agent 13)
  16. Yeah both the Rio Battle and Omnic Titan names seem to line up perfectly with what we've seen so far. Hopefully we officially find out what the future holds for the theme soon. (maybe even at Blizzcon?)
  17. ESPN’s article on Overwatch 2 talks about a mission where 4 characters go on a mission in Rio de Janeiro. That sounds like a good fit with the “Rio Battle” set name from a while back. I know @Puresh said those sets were cancelled but maybe some of them carried over to a new wave?
  18. Just when I lost all hope for the future of the theme you pull me back in. Blizzcon is only a week away, maybe we'll get more info there!
  19. A $20 set with Black Widow and Yelena on a bike vs Taskmaster in some sort of armoured vehicle seems VERY likely to me based on what we've seen from the movie so far.
  20. Picked up both of the new sets today. Junkrat and Roadhog is great, love the bike build and the figs are insanely detailed. But wow, Wrecking Ball might be one of my favourite sets ever. So much detail packed into such a cheap set. Hammond himself is perfect and I love the small feature that lets you lower him down into the mech for ball mode. Really hoping the line continues somehow next year.
  21. Jang put up his review of the Wrecking Ball set. I think this is the best Overwatch set yet to be honest. It folds up into ball mode really well and I love the little feature where Hammond can lower down into the mech. Can't wait to pick this one up next week!
  22. So a new in-game event just started in Overwatch where you can unlock a LEGO inspired skin for Bastion! Pretty cool little collaboration between LEGO and Blizzard.
  23. I agree, I don't think big sets like Watchpoint Gibraltar were ever going to sell well. LEGO should've focused on small sets like Tracer vs Widowmaker and Hanzo vs Genji, as well as mid sized display piece sets like Bastion and D.Va. Individual figure packs would be amazing but I don't see them ever doing that. I really want to wait and see if @Puresh has anything else to say about the theme's future, but I do think Overwatch 2 could have something to do with it. I also think that Harry Potter could have something to do with it, because with the 4 sets coming in 2020, the Harry Potter set numbers will have caught up with the first wave of Overwatch sets. Just an observation, not sure what effect that would have on Overwatch.
  24. You've been reliable in the past, so as much as I hate to say it, I trust you and your source on this one. However I did notice that little hint in your original message about the sets being cancelled but the line itself not being over. Care to elaborate/give any hints as to what that could mean?
  25. The current rumors are that the sequel will be a more story focused, player vs. everyone type game. That way the current game can continue with its live competitive multiplayer service at the same time. Again this is all just rumors and I could be completely off base here.
