Could use help finding (an) old, old post(s)
Well, I never did find the thread I was looking for (thanks to all who offered helpful suggestions), but the episode I needed it for dropped this morning. (It's "The Battlegorilla LEGO Podcast - The Quest for LEGO's Rare Goat - Collector's Dream or Nightmare?", available in most of the usual places, just in case you wanted to listen to it.)

Yes, that certainly is a bag of goats. Yikes! I doubt that the parts draft I'm currently trying to chase down would have resulted in that many goats - I suspect I'm looking for a smaller bag of goats. But thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Thanks for the fix! And as for that engraved brick... so kind yet simultaneously aggravating! Now stuck with that underscore for all eternity! LOL.

Oh, that's good news! After several days of unsuccessful searching here on EB, I was starting to wonder if my stupid brain had just made the whole thing up. It sounds to me like you know a lot more about this than you're saying...

Yes Toastie, that's the set I'm talking about. I've still had no luck finding anything here pertaining to the parts draft, but I continue looking.

Could use help finding (an) old, old post(s)
I wish I remembered some of the names, but sadly, I don't. I have found the search filters, so I'm trying my luck there. Searching for the keywords "Mill Raid Draft" from Jan 1 2011 through Dec 31 2012 have turned up 52 pages of posts, so... I suspect I'll be at this awhile. I appreciate the help so far, and I second your nomination for a chin scratch emoji LOL!

Could use help finding (an) old, old post(s)
Hey, all. I posted about this in the LEGO Historic Themes forum last night, but thought somebody here might also be able to answer my question. Basically, I'm looking for a post/thread or several posts/threads pertaining to an online draft that happened for the Mill Village Raid set (the infamous goats set) back in 2011 or 2012. I don't know if Eurobricks periodically deletes (or archives) their older posts, or if my searching skills are simply too sub-par for me to find what I'm looking for. But I'm currently working on an episode of my podcast about the whole LEGO Goat situation, and being able to access that information would really help me out. Does anyone have any ideas, or a direction they could point me in? Any and all help appreciated! Thanks, Mike Snethen

REQUEST Name Change HERE
Yeah, I'd appreciate it if you could remove the "_" from my name. Back then I was unsure if I wanted to be Battle_Gorilla or Battlegorilla. Turns out, I definitely want to be Battlegorilla. I'm trying very hard (well, moderately hard) to build the Battlegorilla brand. I've got a podcast and everything. So PLEASE make me Battlegorilla here on Eurobricks. Thanks!

Need info on 2011 or 2012 Eurobricks parts draft for Mill Village Raid for podcast episode
I realize this is probably a huge longshot, but... I'm in the process of putting together a podcast episode on the LEGO goat, and in the episode I talk about something that my notoriously faulty memory isn't giving me enough info on. Way back in either 2011 or 2012, someone organized an online draft for the Mill Village Raid set. Does anybody remember this? Are there any current members of the site who actually participated in this? Is whoever went home with the ziplock bag full of goats reading this post right now? Is there a chance that the thread (or threads) pertaining to this are archived somewhere that my meager searching skills just aren't able to find? Any and all help here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello! Returning after long absence!
Hey. I'm Battlegorilla, and I'm an AFOL from the Pacific North West in the USA. I became a member of this site way, way back in 2010, but haven't actually been on here in years. I currently do a weekly LEGO podcast (The Battlegorilla LEGO Podcast), available from the usual sources (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, etc) as well as at www.battlegorilla.com. I plan to be around here more often this time around!

Going to Bricks Cascade (Mar 12 - 15), looking for roommate
Hey, all! I'm attending Bricks Cascade in Portland, OR next week, and my hotel roommate and I are looking for a third to bring costs down to $177.00 each for the room. We're booked for Thursday the 12th (3:00 pm check-in) through Sunday the 15th (11:00 am check-out). The room has two queen beds, and I'll be sleeping in a chair (medical issues), so you can have your own bed just a couple of blocks from the convention center for less than $180. How can you possibly afford to pass up such an awesome opportunity?! First come, first served. Mike "BattleGorilla" Snethen zeitgeist_the_clown@yahoo.com
