  1. So happy with the choice after last quarter disappointed. I will definitely pick this up when it is released.
  2. Found 1/3 of a box at TRS. Picked up 8, one repeat. Will go back next week. None at Walmart or Target. So sad, Target use to be my go to store.
  3. I really want to like this set. I was anticipating it. But I am a bit disappointed. Yes the front looks great but there are just not enough detail at the back. Those rooms are so tiny. I expected more at this huge price point. I will save my money and wait for Jamie's next modular building instead.

I really like the concept of the Corner Deli but I wanted it to fit into the other modular building. So I bought two sets and a little extra dark orange and medium blue bricks from Bricklink. To keep the cost down, the non-showing sides are done in white. I try to keep some key features of the original like sandwich, the chair, bird etc. My new deli is both deli and organic food shop. (Hence the garden outside) First just the overall look of the building of the two showing side. Deli Buiding 1st floor (front and back room) 2nd floor 3rd floor and roof top The other building (1st, 2nd and rooftop) Finally, next to Detective's Office
  6. I like this one better https://ideas.lego.com/projects/124948

I was being careless when building the gondolas. Specifically on page 127 of the instruction, step 9, sometimes I have the tube piece backwards.
  8. Very disappointed by both choices but then again, I know the ones I like won't get picked. So I guess I should say expected disappointment.

I bought this set last year for two main reasons. One, I wanted something to keep me occupy till the next modular building comes out and in between my own MOC. Second, because the set was designed by Jamie. It absolutely exceeded all my expectation. I actually made an error and wasn't paying close attention when I initially build the gondolas. Some I did correctly, some I didn't. Therefore once I attached it to the ferris wheel, the turning motion wasn't smooth. I went back to look at Jamie's video and noted everything was smooth so I went back and look at the ones that wasn't and realize my error. I love the set so much I went ahead and bought two set of power function as well as the fairground mixer which I haven't had time to build yet. I even manage to squeeze some mini dolls in there. I have also put Scooby Doo on the ride

Zero interest and nothing in the April calendar interest me either. So I will be spending my LEGO find at Bricklink.

Pretty disappointed with the seasonal. Some images not showing but of all the ones I can view, not impressed at all. The ones from 2015 were way better.
  14. Agreed. Nice job OP.
  15. I won't consider any of them rare. I have all of the ones you listed (except Cinema) and I also have the Ferris Wheel. I debated on the Cinema for quite some time, but in the end I am just not impressed with it and since there is no hope for me to collect all the modular buildings (I refuse to pay an arm and a leg for Green Grocer, I got back into LEGO too late) there is no point of me buying something that I don't truly love. I also have the Ferris Wheel. It was a fun build and fun to look at if you get the motors also. I like it so much I went ahead and picked up Fairground Mixer to complement it (although I haven't had time to build it yet). My order of preference for the modular buildings you listed are: Parisian Restaurant Detective's Office Pet Shop Palace Cinema It really depends on what your wife's interest is.
