Figbarfs for the win!
Thank you for your words I'm aware the Minifigures' resemblance to the original is not perfect but since I only use original Lego parts I thought it would have nice try to build something with those parts. Beside they are Skyrim inspired so even if they aren't the perfect representation of a Khajiit they can represent "Cat People" characters from any universe we like, even one created by ourselves. That's the great power of Lego: an unbound imagination I like to mix parts to create weapons. I suppose I've not been the first to use the lightsaber hilt plus that component to create a dagger ( I never saw it before but my instinct tells the design is not new) but I like how it looks. I often make Lego weapon designs using only original Lego parts. I even made two videos with a collection of my Sci-Fi designs. I should make one for Fantasy weapons too

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
The Cantina is indeed too small. Not to mention the fact the set lacks a musician A second set would allow to expand the building, complete the music band and it will also give an additional Sand Trooper and Dewback

Post Your Castle Army Here!
Your characters look indeed original I'm currently in the process to start a big Fantasy project featuring several races but I'm finding very difficult to acquire "human" Castle/Fantasy Minifigures. I have Orcs, Elves and even some race I'm going to make using some Chima parts but the only human ones ( a part a couple of The Hobbit characters) are those in the Castle pack from Lego shop but it seems a little overpriced. I'd try to get few Minifigures from Bricklink but I can't find sellers in my country who have what I need and ordering from other countries sellers usually increases the cost a lot, especially if I have to buy from several sellers because none of them has everything I'm looking for Anyway, congratulation again for your army: it's a very interesting one

Fantasy Funnies
Thanks for the info Talking about video games, some of those comics reminded me of Skyrim and Dragon Age. Good old memories Anyway congratulations again I have recently started my journey in the world of Brick Comics and I'm really enjoying it. The only problem is sometimes works seem to vanish in the vastness of the web. So I usually just post them on Eurobricks where I saw there is a good number of Brick Comics fans Keep up the great work

Post Your Castle Army Here!
I know that feeling. I collected many Classic Castle sets as a kid too. Sadly I can't find most of them. I know they should be somewhere and one day I'll find them I was in my dark age when most of the Castle, Fantasy, LOTR sets were released and I missed them. Very nice armies. It's very interesting how you made the "mace"

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
I guess it was Amazon UK. So they are selling Lego Star Wars set at such discount? Interesting, I have to give a look The exchange often increases prices but it's still less than I would pay the Cantina here. I already have that set so I may give a look around for other sets. However I heard it's quite simple to MOC or Mod two sets into a larger Cantina. Anyway thanks for sharing the info with us

Figbarfs for the win!
Indeed. I was about to use one of those "Ice Clan" armors but I acquire them after I built these Minifigures Those Ice armors could also "count as" "Glass Armor". I have still to try them but you can "attach" one part on the front and two (or a two "studs wide" one) on the rear. That means you can in some way recreate the "double colors" look of the armors, like the steal/iron parts on Stalhrim armor or the gold in the Eleven Glass one by using small parts (like 1x1 rounded plates, for example) of the proper color I think with some work those Chima parts can be very useful for Fantasy projects

Fantasy Funnies
Very funny indeed Are the "Roleplay game" jokes a reference to Dungeons and Dragons? I had that impression when I read the one about the d100 dice rolls I'm not an expert of the game but I do remember it uses a d100 dice system. Anyway great one panel comics

Figbarfs for the win!
Hello, fellow AFOLs I recently found several Chima sets at a very discounted price and I decided to build three Skyrim inspired Khajiit Minifigures using the Minifigures from Lion tribe battle packs as starting point. I know the likeness to the "original concept" is not perfect but this is the closest I was able to get using the parts I have. I always use only official Lego parts so this is the best I was able to do at the moment. I plan to improve the "resemblance" as soon as possible Let me know what you think. Skyrim inspired: Khajiit Mage Minifigure by BrickSev, on Flickr Skyrim inspired: Khajiit Assassin Minifigure by BrickSev, on Flickr Skyrim inspired: Khajiit Minifigure by BrickSev, on Flickr You can find two more photos with the edited background and/or effects (one of the Mage and one of the Assassin) on my Flickr Skyrim album I'll post there the other Minifigures I'm currently working on If you are interested in looking at the Minifigures from all the angles, including the headpieces' double printing, pics of the Minifigure without headgear etc I posted several of those photos on my blog. I didn't want to "clog" my Flickr with all those photos ( I noticed it tends to make the Photostream and albums a bit chaotic) since I want to post there only photo with a certain "creative value" Feedback and comments are always very appreciated Like I said I'm aware the resemblance is not perfect but I really wanted to do some Skyrim inspired Minifigures and so I decided to share theme here Thank you for reading, as we would hear in Skyrim "I used to make custom Minifigures like you, but then I took an arrow in the knee" lol I didn't resist I had to say that EDIT: Typo corrected.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Very good explanations. Beside we must consider the movie sets are based on the concepts Lego gets from the movie makers and during the production process many things can change. Starfire Minifigure is based on an already "established" look from the comics, so it's easier for Lego to stay close to the character Just my opinion, though

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
I will start building mine very soon. I missed the UCS Tydirium so when 75094 hit the shelves I had to buy it. I really hope it will meet my expectations The nice thing is I can also expand my Endor Commandos force

Lego Ultra Agents 2015
Impressive, most impressive Especially if we consider the price. I think I could even buy a couple of them and create a small unit of these amazing aircrafts. Thanks for sharing the pic

DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions
What do you think about Jokerland set? I'm very tempted to buy the set for the selection of Minifigures (and I'm sure I'll buy it) but I'm curious to know if it's also an interesting build Thank you for the help

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Thanks for the info I didn't realize the Minifigure alone costed so much. It's understandable since it's what often happens when a Minifigure with a certain "demand" is included in a not-so-great set. It's what happened to Quicksilver Minifigure, for example. I'm quite interesting in an Episode III Palpatine Minifigure: I missed the "Palpatine arrest" set and I'd really like to add a Chancellor Palpatine to my collection. If I'm not mistaken the Tri-fighter version comes without a lightsaber but currently the gold lightsaber hilt can be found in many affordable sets

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Thanks for the info I was thinking about the same thing regarding the original price. I heard the build is not very exciting so Palpatine Minifigure is a sort of "star of the set" but 40€ seem a bit too much for the set. I'll keep my eyes open for some discount

[MOC] Improved Shadow Troopers speeder
Thank you very much Actually I can say this is my first MOC. I've been away from the hobby since 2005/2006 and at that time I built mostly "standard" set and not proper MOCs Honestly I didn't expect all those positive comments. I'm really so happy to read them and such words mean a lot to me I have still much to do before I can even come close to the skill of the builders I see around here but these comments really motivate me Thank you again Thank you very much At first I was not sure the S-foil design was a good choice, since we often see it in Starfighters and not speeders but I liked how it looked and I decided to use that design It's always a pleasure to read such positive comments

[MOC] Improved Shadow Troopers speeder
Thank you very much You are a very skilled builder and so your words mean a lot to me I'm glad you like the wings design. I wanted to make the wings different from the "original" speeder and building larger wings would have unbalanced the vehicle in my opinion so I decided to use the iconic S-foils configuration In the Star Wars universe the S-foils design is used to help with heat dispersion, so I thought it would useful for an "infiltration vehicle" Thank you again for your comment

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
I often thought about getting this set but I read very negative reviews. I had the impression few of those very a bit unfair with the set. Would you recommend it it is sold at "full price"? Thanks for the info

[MOC] Improved Shadow Troopers speeder
Thank you very much I have to say I was quite worried about the lack of parts when I started. The two battle packs have enough parts for the "outer structure", the wings etc but not enough parts to ensure the integrity of the vehicle. Luckily I was able to find the parts I needed and the vehicle is sturdy enough

[MOC] Improved Shadow Troopers speeder
Thank you very much Shadow X-Wing Transport sounds cool lol It's not easy to find proper names. I decided to make a little reference to the Republic Gunship and since I thought "Shadow Troopers" should be adept at infiltration I created that name. I wanted to use the "transport" word but it just carries two troopers. If I'll ever make a larger, gunship-like version of it I'll surely put the word transport in the name Thank you very much Actually I come back many months ago but this is my first proper MOC Parts availability is indeed a problem. Where I live it's not even very easy to get parts from Bricklink without having to pay a lot for international shipping. I noticed the Microfighters are a nice way to stock up parts. Their cost per piece ratio is good (most of the times) and they also come with a cool Minifigure (a part droid sets, of course) and so are not a bad choice if we need a "fast" way to acquire some additional part for our projects

[MOC] Improved Shadow Troopers speeder
Thank you very much for your words The speeder itself it's not very big (the length it's the "original" one) so I tried to keep things balanced, especially with the wings. I thought larger wings would have greatly unbalanced the vehicle but I wanted to make a different design from the standard speeder so I used the S-foils style. I'm glad to read you find the balance great Thank you again for your comment. This is my first actual MOC so your words mean a lot to me
