My parents own a summer house, close to the small town Katrineholm, Sweden. The house was, when they bought it 8 years ago, in very bad condition due to that it stood empty for several decads. However, today it is in better condition. Anyway - I just had to build this house in LEGO! To make the model fit in one of IKEA's vitrine products I tried to create it in a as small scale as possible (but still in a size which makes it possible to recreate the windows in a good way). I think what I'm most happy about with this creation is the choice to use studs on the roof - I think that creates a great contrast towards the smooth walls. You are able to find a reference picture of the real building at the end of this post. When the regular slope-parts (http://www.bricklink...asp?P=3040]3040[/url]) are attached to each other you don't achieve the 45 angle I was looking for. So instead I used a combination of http://www.bricklink...asp?P=3040]3040[/url] and http://www.bricklink...p?P=92946]92946[/url] Could this building be built in an even smaller scale? Sure... Comparison - which one do you like the most? (The big one consists of appr. 1400 parts, the small one 300). This is what the real house looks like: Hope you enjoy it!

Hi everyone! I bought a 10220 Volswagen Camper Van some time ago. It's really an iconic car so I decided to try to recreate it in ("approximately") minifig-scale. I had a really hard time to recreate the rounded colour shift in the front. However I'm pretty happy with the result. Everything's attached, no loose pieces! After finishing it I thought - why not try to create it in a mini-scale too? (Thin technic liftarms in the middle of the construction attachs studs on both directions) The complete VW Camper family! (Which one is the cutest? ) And after that... I decided to create a hippie version too! Flower Power! Hope you like it!

I was given a commission this spring to recreate Sweden's highest building in LEGO. The result: a 190 cm high model of Turning Torso consisting of 25 000 parts! The whole creation was first built in LDD - and then IRL. The shapes and characteristics were very difficult to recreate - for example the rotation and the five-edge-shape. It took a lot of time before the final concept was completed... The creation will be located to Tekniska Museet in Stockholm from this saturday (20th Oct) and a few weeks forward. Hope you will go there to take a look at it! WIP-images: :P

B-RV-15D, and B-V-21B to B-V-21D From last thursday to this sunday (Aug, 26th) there is an event in Annedal (Stockholm, Sweden). I have build a block in LEGO for one of the companies that participant in the exhibiton. I have also built three of their apartments. Hope you enjoy it! 19.000 pieces. There is not much dark brown left on Bricklink The model is approximately 120 x 155 x 40 cm :) Referensbild pic! Hello everyone! (First time I post in the Historical Themes-section) This is one of four creations I have created for Stockholm's Tramway-museum. (You are able to find two of the other here and here) This creation takes place at the end of the 1890s in Stockholm. I have put a lot of work into the minifigures to make them look as time-accurate as possible =) Please also note the "horse bus" (funny name, eh?) Hope you like it! Tomorrow the exhibition Stockholm piece by piece starts at Stockholm Tramway Museum. Do you remeber the sneak peak look I gave you on one of the other models a month ago? 1940s Trams in Stureplan This time I will let you have a look at the creation that represents the present. NK & Trams takes place at Hamngatan in Stockholm. The part of Hamngatan where the NK-Mall is and the Stockholm Tram goes. This is a beautiful sight and I definitly think it deserves to be shaped in a historical context. Do you want to have a look at the 1890- and 2050-creations? B-OV-33D Hello everyone! Awesomeproject (a small Swedish event firm) are having a minor LEGO event in Väsby Centrum (a small shopping mall a few miles outside Stockholm, Sweden) in the beginning of June. This LEGO-creation (built by me), which represents the main entrance of the mall, will be a part of the event. The round shape above the entrance and the text were the most difficult features of this creation. And yes, the text is LEGO (Hose, Pneumatic 4mm). It's the same hose as the one I earlier used as a escalator band. The parts on the round shaped "thing" above the entrance and above the top windows are in the colour dark turquoise. A very nice colour I have never built with before. Hope you like it! Reference pictures:

In about a little more than a month I, together with Stockholm's Tramway-museum, will be proud to present an exhibition: LEGO-creation's about Stockholm's Tramway-history The exhibition will consist of four LEGO-creations, created by me for the Museum for this exhibition. However, I will let you have a sneak peak on one of the models already today. 1940s - Trams in Stureplan (Stockholm, Sweden) - takes place at the rush hour an ordinary business day in the middle of the 1940s in Stureplan - the heart of Stockholm at that time. 2012 is the year when an Apocalypse will take place on Earth. If it doesn't happen throught attacking Aliens or throught a Zombie epidemic, it will perhaps happen as a cause of natural disasters - in this case an Earthquake. This is part 3 of my Apocalypse-serie. Recap: Part 1: Part 2: Imagine what it would be like to wake up to the day the world would end. Bad timing, uh? As long as I have liquor I'm fine! (I wasn't completely sure in what Theme-forum I should post this in; TOWN because it takes place in a house in a town/city - or Sci-Fi because it illustrates the future?). Hope you like it!

Attack of the Zombies! 2012 is, probably, the year of an apocalypse. If we do not get attacked by Aliens (see my Alien-apocalypse), we'll probably be attacked by Zombies A cold night at the start of the Zombie-epidemic it might look like this... [The building are; sand green, sand blue, sand red and sand purple. Did I forgot to mention that I love sand-colours? ]
