Decreasing number of MOCs: affected by criticism?
JDL1967 replied to Aventador2004's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingInteresting, i have read comments in both topics ( not all but enough to get the picture what is going on) and think without pointing a finger to any member, that it looks a bigger storm, than it in reality is. If a member points out that you can make improvements or make your build better, then you can only bennifit from that. Last year i have posted my vw t1 xxxl long moc, and some members have sayd to me, that the front could be better. I still havend change it, because i dont know any other way to do it. But i was glad they pointed this out to, so i can take that in considderation by my next moc. Reactions on a build that you post like "beautyfull, nice build, amazing" ect.ect. is what we all love to see. But when someone says this or that can be better, then it is a negative. Give me both, the positive makes me love the hobby, the negative makes me understand the building technique even more. And maybe the "tone" in which it is written isnd allways "nice", but that is i think because the most of us ( me included) are not native English speaking people. So if my grammer or spelling isnd that good, dont hold it against me. I am Dutch, and learned the language from the movies and the tv. I think its great that we have a platform like EB, where you can find ( allmost) everything there is to find about lego including great designers and builders...

4-Wheel Motorbike Lazareth LM 847 by redera00
JDL1967 replied to pagicence's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingMaybe i should read it better, you have a point there, but one picture like this dosend convince me. If it is a prototype, then atleast there must be pictures of it on a testrack and motorcycleshow. And not one in some storagebox. But thats my opinion. Never the less i agree with you, it is a great moc.

Hot weather and building lego
I like those, where did you get them?

Hot weather and building lego
In a lot of parts in the world, is is hot. Here in the south of the Netherlands, we had 38°C in tge shade. I have some ideas for new builds, but my lego/hobby room feels like a sauna. How do you all go along with your lego hobby? I look for cooling in the swimmingpool. I cant get myself to build anything. Still, here in my own and in lots of other FB groups i see one build afther another. Maybe some have airco or colder wheater to build with lego. It would be nice to hear how other members here will handle that.

4-Wheel Motorbike Lazareth LM 847 by redera00
JDL1967 replied to pagicence's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingNice build. But i think not one for this forum. For the simple reason that a scale model is based on something that also ecxist in the real world.

[MOC REVIEW] Grove GMK6400 Mobile Crane
JDL1967 replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingIn 2015 i build this crane. I posted pictures of it which are on page 17 and 18. I also added the axle on the front back then, to attache the hook. Now 3 years later, i want to build it once again. But i have seen that there are lot of mod's now. So i hope someone can tell me where i can get the total newest instructions of the whole crane, and the up to date partslist. Tnx..

The 4 from Lucio Switch designs together
JDL1967 replied to JDL1967's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI have found one at Ikea. 118cm weide 39cm deep and 205cm high. A lock is easy to build in. But i dont really need one. Also the have leds which you can build in to it. So the room is there for the moc's and also light.. And the livingroom is not an option. The wife has that part for her architecture which she is got into by me....
